He did poison her, not to kill her, but for her to have a miscarriage since he believes she slept with his brother. She was given different types of poison by different people. You will find it out later.

Oh! You meant introducing DL? But I think FL is the one to blame more. She knows YS doesn't like him. SFL is naive to begin with and doesn't know much about their rivalry, but FL is supposed to be intelligent. I don't know why she trusts DL so much. She even tells him so many stuff like them being childhood friends and so on.
