Can anyone who has read the story spoil me whether Liu Mubai is a bad person bcz I have a feeling that he is. I just can't seem to like him. Also, is it only me who likes Jiu You with Mu Chen than Luo Li?
I have only watched 30 eps so far, but I really hate Shangguan and Xie Xiao. They are both so annoying with their one sided love. At least Xie Xiao character is a comic relief. But Shangguan is rather boring and dull. I like all the characters except those two. Even Yan shi Fan character is bit better than those two. I don't know why do they have so much screen time. Annoying af. Also, why does Yang Yue keep following the girl when he is supposed to work? He doesn't do anything except following that annoying girl. Isn't he a civil servant who is supposed to work? Anyway I like this drama.

Watch the channel live on TV, not youtube. They have already aired first 2 eps with subs. As far as I know they will air it again on weekend. Not sure about the time though. Just check it

I also agree with you. The magic is gone and with many of the cast change, it seems like a different story. However, I am continuing to watch it since I like the story and I am eagerly waiting for more eps to come.
Was waiting for this for a year already. Arthur is always the best Ning que for me. I miss old Ye Hong Yu and king too. However, I quite enjoyed the solid start. Will wait for more. The ending theme song is captivating.
Waited for this to finish to start watching. But wanted to watch after reading the comments as I like mysteries. Watched 5 eps in one go and I didn't even realize the time passing. It felt too short. Waiting for more. By the way, does anyone know if MJJ exists in 2019 as well?
