i know. its weird she didnt team up with Shen Run. He is a soldier, smart, witty, tactical, has power. i really dont get what marrying in the marquis family will help her with her revenge.

I really dont get the FL mindset. they really dumbed her down these last few episodes.

So she actually wanted the marriage to go through...?!!! I Didnt expect that. i thought she would have a plan herself to cancel it.

Why couldn't she just wait.. Why does she need to end her Father RIGHT NOW. i dont get it. They have desame end game. why doesnt she play along with Shen run's schemes.

He clearly said her father is under the EMPEROR's protection for now, how will marrying into the Marquis family help her with her revenge? or that dummy heir. while the people shes up against are snakes and pro's that also had part in killing Shen Runs family.

While Shen Run is close to the Emperor and Commander of the Palace Guards.
It was funny the roles were reversed, another woman had her eye on Shen Run. She got to know that feeling of jealousy.

I know hes acting like a sword and shield for her. but

i actually like the Pei girl more now than the FL. the last few episodes her actions are disappointing.

The FL was really witty and smart. but the last few episodes. Im disappointed.

and he just ignored the old lady'a power. i luved it

i know it actually happened in history. an old man get his 2 minutes of heaven, than disregards her, while she is now stuck with him for life

I remember the episode, where that evil nanny was caneing the FL. and the ML slapped her hard, landing on the ground. i loved that scene. being beaten by a stick herself to understand the pain she was inflicting.

I know its wrong. But.
That Xie Grandmother needs a clean punch to the face.
Seeying that. to be honest. i wouldn't feel bad
She like to punish and control people. does she understand pain? it hurts

+ wanted to marry off her kind young granddaughter to a 60 year old geezer. She should have married him herself.

when he walked and ignored father Xie while he did the polite greeting. -> i laughed. he went forward and paid respect to a fellow men of the kings army.
he is the kings sword.

i do want to know his connection with the current king/emperor, maybe they were childhood friends, the king put allot of trust in him from the start

He is a close friend of the ML and also trying to heal the ML. As a kid the ML got poisoned by a rare incureble poison . He's trying to also lessen his pain. By the ML discription, 'the pain feels as if his bones are being scraped and his flesh being cut, the pain is unbearable '

Binged and Finished it today. I really like the ML with his tricks and the headstrong FL, really great acting, it's a shame we didn't see more of the 2nd couple more approaching the end of the drama. I hope the main actors will do another drama together, and people are too aggressive here on MDL towards the FL. Grow the fk up incels. The hatred spewed here sometimes is over the top.

Im happy for YaKe. (she was used and didnt know it , she only wanted some respect in the household.) she freed herself and some others of the power of the capital
the actors were epic <3
You know a simple fix. stay in nature for a week. in stead of brick walls and people following you 24/7
