A Drama That Broke My Heart in the Best Way

I love this show!! Hidden Love is one of my favorites, and Zhao Lusi is one of my favorite actresses. I love the chemistry between the ML and FL, and I also love how this drama shows that love takes time.

I felt so bad for the FL when she thought the ML had a girlfriend—her tears broke my heart into pieces. I do think she made a healthy choice by trying to move on, but I don't think cutting him off completely was the best decision. Still, it all worked out in the end.

The ML also really touched my heart, especially when he was working and started crying. I just wanted to hug him, especially when he was heartbroken over his dad’s death. It really tugged at my heartstrings.

However, the stalker-like character who kept blaming him for his father’s mistakes made me so angry. She clearly needed help, and I’m glad the FL pointed out that she was mentally unwell.

Other than that, this drama was so cute and heartwarming. It shows how love can develop in the most unexpected places. I also loved the family aspect—especially her brother and parents. It made the show even better. I love how it shows strong family bonds and how family tries to understand each other even when they disagree.

I also really enjoyed the sibling dynamic. Even though they acted like they hated each other, it was very funny and realistic. They did a great job portraying it.

Overall, this was a great drama!!!!

A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College: Funny, Empowering & Addictive

This drama was so funny and entertaining! I loved that it’s about the first female student at the imperial college and how she has to prove herself in a male-dominated environment.
The ML was really hilarious and charming. I also loved the FL’s journey and all her moments at the imperial college. The side characters were great too!
However, the villain in this drama was incredibly creepy and stomach-turning. The actor did such a good job that I hated him most of the time, but there were moments where I actually felt a little bad for him, which was annoying. I also wished his storyline had a more satisfying ending.
Overall, this is one of the best dramas I’ve watched. It perfectly balances humor, strong character moments, and a compelling story.

A Refreshing Feel-Good Drama

I love this show because it shows how opposites sometimes attract and how people with really high intelligence navigate falling in love. This drama is also really good at showing that relationships won’t go anywhere without communication and understanding of one another.
I also love how this show has strong side characters, like their parents — both of the main leads’ parents were so funny! It was nice to watch a drama where both leads actually have good parents.
This drama is perfect when you don’t want anything heavy. You can laugh and enjoy the sweet moments. It’s a little cringe in a few areas, but I found the show absolutely adorable.
Though if you’re not into more laid-back dramas that focus on a nerd figuring out how to show love, this probably won’t be for you. I however loved it! didn't really enjoyed the side couple they were okay, there relationship was a bit rushed . Though I did love how they learned how to be there for each other.
I also did get a little annoyed with how the main couple would not communicate — especially when the FL would shut down and not tell the ML anything (and vice versa). But again, this show realistically shows how relationships aren’t perfect. They’re messy and kind of awkward, especially when your parents are forcing you to live together and making things weird… though that part was so funny!!!

My First C-Drama: Derailment

I loved this!! It was my first C-drama. There are many plot twists throughout the show. I just wished there were more romantic scenes and some parts felt a bit slow.
Though the character development is really good, especially with the main character, which I loved! I also liked how the story progressed and how well the plot built up. However, the ending felt really fast and abrupt, which was a little disappointing because the overall plot was so strong.
Other than that, the villain is so chilling and the show keeps you guessing till the end. Great drama!

Wonderland of Love: Strong Start But Disappointing So Far

I’m not finished with Wonderland of Love yet, but I’m honestly quite disappointed with how it’s turning out.
It started off really strong and had so much promise. The drama features two strong main leads, a great side couple, and a stomach-turning villain. However, after the first few episodes, it began going downhill.
My biggest issues are:

The characters (especially the FL) aren’t developing much.
The relationship between the FL and ML jumps from 0 to 100 way too quickly with little buildup.
The story is becoming quite repetitive.

I’m also finding the FL pretty annoying because she doesn’t seem to be growing as a person. It’s really sad because the drama had such a good direction in the beginning.
I’ll continue watching to see if it improves, but right now it’s been a big letdown.

I don't know if I will finish this??

I just don't know if I can continue watching this drama. It was so good at the beginning, but then it kind of fell off.

The beginning had such a strong story, and the main couple had really strong interactions. It made me sad because I really thought it was going somewhere great.

I also felt so sorry for the ML—he deserved so much better. That’s part of why the FL started to annoy me. I understood some of her actions, but in a lot of moments, the way she treated him was frustrating to watch.

I find all the characters annoying because they refuse to communicate or talk things through. It feels like the story will stay stuck, then suddenly blow up for no reason. That made the show really frustrating for me.

The FL never seems to want to talk or communicate, and the same goes for the ML. I just don't know if I can continue watching, and honestly I'm not sure if I will finish it.

Pursuit of Jade: Funny, Heartbreaking & Addictively Good

Pursuit of Jade was one of the best dramas I’ve watched in a while! It perfectly mixes funny, heartbreaking, and heart-tugging moments all together.
I loved the romance between the main couple — it was so cute and hilarious. The female lead is really strong and independent, which made her super cool. I also adored the kids in this drama, they were absolutely adorable!
This drama did an amazing job showing how dark and twisted some kinds of love can become. The two brothers as villains were incredibly stomach-turning and honestly haunted me. The way it explores aggressive, poisonous love and the madness it can cause was really well done.
The character development throughout the show is excellent. I loved watching every character grow and change.
Overall, this drama has tragedy, humor, strong love, and great writing. I would definitely rewatch it and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a rich love story with depth.

Love, Fate, and Heartbreak

I just loved the ML! This drama was hilarious, but it also had me crying so much because of both the ML and FL. I was not okay. This show broke my heart in some parts.

I was a little disappointed with the side characters. I didn't like them as much as I hoped I would, and I got annoyed by their behavior at times. I also found the FL's voice kind of annoying at first, but I could handle it.

What I really loved was how this show focuses on emotions and how powerful they can be. Sometimes you just need someone in your life to help you find and unlock those emotions. I also liked how the drama shows that when you truly love someone, living can feel like hell itself, causing you to lose yourself.

This show touches on some really heavy themes, such as how love can drive people mad and how, if you truly love someone, you can let them go. It also shows how fate can be unfair and that you can't run away from who you are, because it will always find you.

Bittersweet Perfection: My Thoughts on Prisoner of Beauty

This drama was so heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time. It pulled on my heartstrings nonstop — I was sobbing one minute and laughing the next.
I absolutely loved the arranged marriage plot. Watching their relationship slowly grow and improve little by little was so rewarding. It took time, but this drama does an amazing job showing the characters overcoming their trauma and becoming stronger together. As the story progresses, the main couple realizes that the only person they can truly trust is each other, and I thought that was really powerful. It shows how real love takes time to develop.
I also loved the side characters, though I was so sad that not every couple got a happy ending. This drama made me cry a lot, but it also showed how pure and gut-wrenching love can be, especially when you lose the person you care about most.
Overall, Prisoner of Beauty is an emotional rollercoaster that’s absolutely worth watching. It’s bittersweet, but the main couple’s journey together is so beautiful.

A Drama I Can Rewatch Again and Again

This drama is pure comfort and laughter! It's one of those shows I can rewatch anytime I need something fun and light-hearted. The side characters are hilarious—especially Chubby. He cracked me up in every scene!

I also LOVED Lu Sicheng's flirty personality. The main couple's chemistry was adorable! I love a drama with good side couples, and this show did not disappoint. They were so cute too.

Easily one of my favorite shows!!!!!

I can see how this drama might not be everyone's favorite because it can be a little cringe at times, but I found it really funny. I also thought the storyline was interesting because I had never watched a show like this before, so it felt fresh and unique to me.

Overall, I found this drama entertaining, heartwarming, and incredibly fun to watch.

This was so Good!!

This was my first historical drama, and I absolutely loved it!!!!!

The ML and FL are so good! Their chemistry is beautiful, and I love how both of them are strong and able to hold their own. The FL is also hilarious and adorable, especially when it comes to her love of food and wine. The ML is incredibly cool as well.

Though I have to mention the Empress. The actress did such an amazing job that she made me hate the character so much. The Empress was incredibly annoying and evil, which just shows how well the role was played.

The Gentleman was also horrible. The way he acted at the beginning had me completely fooled. The fact that he cared more about himself than everyone else was just plain evil. In my opinion, there is no excuse for what he did. Only a coward would make the choices he made.

Overall, I loved this drama and would highly recommend it. The characters, chemistry, and story made it a fantastic first historical drama for me.

I was disappointed

I might be too attached to Hidden Love, so I was very disappointed with this drama. Though I will say that I liked the story idea, I just found the show very slow and boring. Sure, there were parts where it got exciting, but I found the FL annoying because she kept refusing to open up to the ML, even after everything he did for her. I felt like the ML deserved better.

I was especially frustrated because it felt like the FL wasn't developing as a character at all and was actually getting worse as the story went on. I kept waiting for the FL to grow from her experiences, but each time it seemed like she was about to open up, she pulled away again.

I also found the side characters boring and lacking personality. I'm not saying they were terrible—there were some really funny and cute moments between them. I just found their storylines confusing and boring, and they felt too slow for me. I really love shows with strong side characters, but this drama just wasn't doing it for me.

Of course, this is only my opinion, but I found this drama boring, lacking in character development, and ultimately disappointing. I can understand why some people enjoy this drama, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
