Actually i was talking about how these things happened in the novel.. in the drama they changed a lot of things and characters as they cant really show the whole rebirth sequence as it is banned... By the throat slicing movement, he probably just means to get rid of her by any means.. i guess they r going to blind, stab her and throw in water for the whole rebirth thing

Actually when He ruefei was born he was very weak and the family thought that he won't live long and they had him sent away but the He family had an official/noble position in court which they didnt want to let go so they made He yan dress up like a boy with a mask since she was young and made her He Rufei. But later He rufei grew up healthy and well and he came back and swapped his original place with He yan and since He yan had always worn a mask so no one really knew she was the He rufei all these years. Later after she married in Xu family, the He family was worried that their swap of all these years would come to light someday so they had her killed
