I almost wish the ep6 preview didn't follow those ending shots of ep5... Because I would have 100% been on the edge of my seat wondering if this show will have a happy or sad ending. The preview gave some relief to my anxiety, but I also think it would have been impactful to sit with for a bit (I also assume that was the director's intention).
They did this show a disservice with this run time.. the jumping back and forth between couples, and unclear flashbacks/time shifts make it hard to follow and get invested. I feel like I blink and an episode is over too.

Started watching right after finishing The Lie We Lived In, and I am so seated for all these KBLs with actual plots outside of the romance. Keep um coming (😉). Hopefully this opens the door to one day getting a full length BL K-drama. 🤞🏻

I always wait to rate until I complete a drama... It's probably going down because others are like me. Also, while it was a HE, for the more logical folks, the ending didn't hit. Like most kdramas nowadays, it felt rushed, and didn't wrap up the time travel/body-swap components that well (in addition to other plot points that went nowhere). Still a fun watch at times (esp. if you enjoy the use of MANY troupes), and the leads do have good chemistry.
Btw, was it ever explained why/how Dan Shim ended up as a royal consort at the beginning? I just don't understand what benefit the king got from marrying her (a lowly court lady), after he used her to depose his brother?
They lost me with the non-sensical time travel at the end, only to have her straight up break the grand prince's heart... And then stick him with the OG Dan Shim as a consolation prize?!?! Like dude, he loved Shin Seo Ri, not just her face. 🤦🏻♀️
They already made it seem like the grand prince was Se Gye in a past life, so why make her separate the two and choose one (while hurting the other)?
The ending was rushed and had me going WTF?? It was a similar feeling to when I finished Word of Honor. I wanted to give this a high rating, but that threw me. I hate the ambiguity!!
At first I was like "Damn Tae Jeong, are you really getting the D while your homeboy is locked in a cage downstairs??"... but honestly good for him after that plot twist! He deserved some D before all hell broke loose.
While skimming through (honestly don't think this one's for me), I found it hilarious that they gave Ding Yuxi really long nail extensions for his hand closeup. Poor guy.
Watched this randomly because I recognize most of these guys as actors vs. idols, but really enjoyed it despite not being a wannable.
I'm still kind of confused though... Did they just get together to make this TV show and 1-2 songs for funsees, or are they officially reuniting as a k-pop group with a full-album, tour, etc. in the future?
Suggestions for someone who wants to watch another drama with him, after only seeing him in Word of Honor? Maybe another role where he is flirtatious/unserious like Wen Ke Xing?
Okay, so for me, the plot was not interesting at first, but the chemistry between MLs kept me going (or maybe it was just Gong Jun's smile, who knows 🙃). However, starting around EP 30, I was actually really getting into the plot outside of the couple... It made me want to raise my initial gut rating for sure!! And then... that ending... like wtf?? Even with the short epilogue, I have too many questions.
I'm now off to see if I can pick up the novel towards the end and feel a bit more satisfaction.
I can see why the untamed is the goat, but I did appreciate that this censored BL was a lot more outwardly gay.
