A mess
At first I thought it was a weird script. Then weird editing. But no, this show was just a mess from beginning to end. It felt like a class project rather than a professional TV show. Awkward blocking, clunky dialogue, random characters appearing and vanishing. The "plot" was less than paper thin. Repeated conversations that went on and on. A wide angle lens for every shot whether it needed one or not. I wish Boat & Oat a sparkling career, but everyone who had decision-making power on this show and went "well, that's as good as it's going to be" and let it go to air needs to seriously reconsider their profession.
