Yes and we know it is still winter because they are still wearing coats - seems like the drama started in late summer early fall - so it does appear to be “real” time.

No wonder SW left home at 17 and didn’t come back for 17 years (even though he said 15 at the beginning of the drama which would have made him 32 - go figure! )

UF is on ep 107 today and leads are just getting back together and they FINALLY figured out the problem with SW's age. Seriously. 🤦‍♀️oh, and they ADDED 10 more episodes. 😭

I MAY try this one since I like the leads. I need a daily or weekend drama that is actually good. We haven't had one in a while.

Him telling her he loved her was unusual. You don’t see them say that very often in k-dramas - maybe that is from his years of living abroad.

JA getting mad because SW is “out of control and wants to do what he wants to do” Heaven forbid a 35 year old man wants to make his own decisions about who he wants to be with and how to live his own life! JA is what I call a busy-body. She needs a full time job or go do volunteer work to keep herself busy so she doesn’t have time to sit around wondering how to make her kid’s lives more miserable.
ES better stick with SW this time. Grow a backbone please.
I feel sad for MG. He is going to be devastated more when he finds out he isn’t GR’s biological father. Or maybe he has known all along? GR is going to be hurt, but let’s rip this bandaid off and let’s get on with the healing so MG can move on to a better relationship. I can see now why they had EA develop a relationship with GR - she will help him heal from his mom’s absence and betrayal. As much as I wanted MG with SJ at the beginning it looks like it will be EA he gets with. Maybe SJ will meet her Angel guy somehow and they will hit it off and start dating.
Let’s get rid of the two clingers too - I’m ready to get this drama over with.

I don't think we will see 3 weddings - Usually it's always the 2nd leads that get married. Occasionally we get to see the leads married - or we see them in a time skip and they are already married.

Wasted storyline on Unpredictable Family. So much more could have been done with established characters from the beginning - especially JS - but instead they added others at the end that became nothing but fillers to get us to the end - then they added 2 extra weeks of episodes. This could have ended this week with episode 106.

Writers missed a golden opportunity with the JS character. They could have had more for her as far as the storyline went but she became nothing but the scapegoat for the divorce 33 years previously - just another person for JA to blame. I was hoping for more from her character given her background they teased us with. Instead we got Ji Yeon, Si Heon, Jang Yu ri, and Je Ha. 🙄 What a waste.

Round 2 - we still have 26 more episodes to go - plenty of time for more angst for the leads here. We still have to get rid of the two clingers.

I have no problem with the age gap - neither are minors but I just don't feel this will be romantic between them.

why would there not be? Didn't say I wished for it - just said I didn't think it was romance but more like mother/son.

Just seems to me they will heal each other but not in a romantic way.

It could be him protecting his mom though - she is the only mother he has known and maybe he doesn’t want her to get hurt - makes me wonder if he knew when he went abroad at 17/18 and that is why he didn’t return for all those years….or it could be he is clueless - maybe he is realizing he wants to be with ES enough to step aside as Ja’s son…there is no telling how the writers will go with this story. They have messed up the timeline so bad and created ages at the drop of a hat - SW has been 32, 34, now 35 - he left for America at 17, and came back 15 years later - which would have made him 32 - but now, in less than a year he is 3 years older than that - then KBS site changed his age of going to US from 17, to now 18 - but it is still off if he was gone 15 years - he went from being 4 years older than ES to 7 years older now. 😂 The story changes like the wind.
