Def watch You Are My Hero - it is one of my favorites - and Operation Special Warfare was really good too. If you dont want your heart broke, stay away from The Guardian. I could not get past the first few episodes of that drama because of 2FL.

While I disliked the drama because of the FL character, i didnt dislike it because of the actors - they did their best with that boring storyline imo. I still like Yang Yang and she has done other things that are good. She isnt my fave actress but she is not bad either. The problem with yang yang is he tends to play his characters with the same deadpan face - no emotions come across his face much. When I saw him actually smile and laugh in Fireworks of My Heart i kept thinking he should take more roles that are lighter - instead of all the serious roles he takes. He has a great smile but you rarely see it.

I STILL can't finish that drama - one of the most boring dramas ever and I hated the FL.

Awww congratulations! I didnt even realize they were dating - Beautiful Gong Shim was a great drama and so underrated imo.

See I find her evil - that is why I despise her more than Se Ri and Gi Chan - because the evil she is doing and has done has been to her own flesh and blood family - that is the difference between her and the other two. Mi Ran is conniving and stabs her family in the back for what? a Company? That is just as low as a person can be to do that to family members. She abandoned her son to her brother, which caused her sister-in-law to think he had cheated on her - why didn't she just reveal the truth to her own sister-in-law - i bet she would have take seung woo in with a loving heart instead of resenting him all these years - so her son ended up being the target of a resentment and bitterness that would not have been there to begin with had she been honest. She never told Philip he is a father so she deprived him of knowing his own son. She stabbed her own niece in the back over fear she would try to take the company from her (she says from her son but in reality she wants the company!)
Everything that has happened to the kang family stems from her - not se ri or gi chan - they are just outsiders wanting the company - Mi Ran stabbed her own family in the back for the company - this is all about YL Group - she wants to control it through Seung Woo - she is a master manipulator and believes money solves everyone's issues - I cannot relate to that nor sympathize with it.

Her betrayal story hasn't been revealed yet and it must have been a HUGE betrayal because she is good at that and then the biggest betrayal of keeping him from his own son all these years and knowing she betrayed her son as well - why didn't she just claim she had married in the US and then gave birth and her husband died? That was a story she could have gotten away with - they are a well-off family - her brother could have made that happen - but to abandon her son to her brother and him not even telling his own wife why he was bringing home a baby and left her in misery the rest of his married life to her - i just don't see how she can come back from all that and be a character that I can sympathize with. She ruined a lot of lives of people she claims to care about.

Plus the way she yelled at Philip "YL Group is MINE!" - She didnt say "YL Group is Seung Woo's!" - She wants control of the company THROUGH her son - she is using him - just like she uses everyone else. I can't see any redemption for her. I am sure she will probably end up in a forgived state at the end because that is what these k-dramas always seem to do.

Oh Yeah, ive been watching Starry Love and it is pretty good. She is such a versatile actress. I have not watched filter yet but it is on my list!

i would say it used to be societal views and probably still is to an extent but they are becoming more open to mixed marriages now - probably because they see more divorces now than before.

Don't forget, Ji Ho knows about the call his mom made to Jae In telling her Eun Ho could meet her. That kid has heard a lot living in that nest of vipers. Yu Gyeong needs to come completely clean with Jae In now - she knows much more than she is telling.

😂 the first 30 eps are hard to get through but it also gives a lot of information that is needed.

I am afraid he does still have some feeling s but i seriously hope they do NOT get together. They share a son, doesnt mean they have to share a life together.

They can try to redeem her but she has back stabbed Jae In so many times, Philip, Seung woo, her own son - to me there is no coming back from that. If she had just not believed in Jae in once or twice and then supported her, I could let it go but she has done too many things that is just abhorrent. And the way she offers money for every thing! Money cannot bring back a dead father, husband, daughter, son! She is disgusting the way she thinks money is going to be any consolation.

I do think we are def getting a noona romance - Seung Woo and Yu Gyeong will end up together.

but we can appreciate how far she has come by knowing where she was at the beginning - if you skip, you miss out on that.
