That's how chinese drama works. Nothing is confirmed until they make the announcement and they always make announcements…
Yep, sometimes iQIYI will never really advertise a drama - they just air it. I’ve had that happen several times with them - I would go into the app and it would just be there. I thought maybe that’s what would happen with this one but it’s apparent it’s not gonna air today. Maybe they are waiting for You Are My Hero to be done. I wish MDL would update the dates in here though.
I think the timing on MDL is off because this is actually supposed to start Mar 12 - but they are saying it was supposed to start today, Mar 11. I’m going to give this more time to see if it will air tomorrow. Fingers are crossed.
Seems like there is no news of this anywhere. Maybe we have to wait until the other military drama is over or…
Edited: actually it’s due to start Mar 12 - tomorrow - that could be why we don’t see it yet. I am going to wait and see if it eventually shows up tomorrow.
Yeah I keep checking iQIYI but it’s not on there yet. That’s not good because they normally are on time. And I notice there is no link above to it yet either…..
They have it listed in the calendar so chances are good it will air March 12. IQiyi sometimes won’t list a drama…
I do know The Sword and the Brocade showed up on iQIYI a couple of days after it came out on Tencent (and it was never listed as coming soon on iQIYI) so maybe it will also air You Are My Hero as well - but since My Dear Guardian is a similar plot I am not sure they would air them both at the same time…but you never know. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Iqiyi had Ping Pong listed as coming soon for several months and never really gave a start date then all of a sudden yesterday it was listed with a start date and aired it pretty much an hour or two later - for some reason they do that sometimes - I don’t know if it’s just something they do with certain dramas or if they just don’t bother to update their site….so I’m still hopeful - especially now that Tencent pulled You Are My Hero - I don’t always have access to WiFi so I like to download my episodes and watch later - Viki doesn’t allow downloading so if Tencent doesn’t air, then I have to use drama cool. At least iqiyi allows you to download.
I can’t get my vpn to pull it in.not sure why it never works with Netflix.
I have 4 different vpns and none will load the episodes - drama cool will be my best friend for this one. I just finished Bring it On Ghost a week or so ago so I was looking forward to seeing this version.

They did this before - advertised a drama right up until the start date then pulled it. Only way to watch was via vpn or drama cool. I hope they don’t do it to this one. I’ve been waiting months to see this one. I’m hoping they are just in the process of updating their website but it’s been a whole day already.
What? I just checked my tencent app and this is not on there anymore under coming soon nor in the search….please tell me this will be aired for us in US……and link above says no copyright for US….I am gonna cry if this is true. I’ve been waiting for this one for months!
