I enjoy watching him in any costume drama, his eyes are always captivating. I've been following him since Novoland. To me he doesn't looks old at all, he looks mature which is suitable as the Crown Prince role, and more believable rather than having a 20 something who looks like 15 (don't forget most Chinese actors/actress look younger than their real age).

I agree. As much as I (kinda) understand LYF character - I am also disappointed to see him in this role. I think there are more issues with FL but I don't know if that is director's error or her acting. I don't see difference between her 1st and 2nd life while she was supposed to be more mature in her 2nd life. I also hate her makeup urgh! Yang Chao Yue is a lot more beautiful without that heavy makeup.

They're not supposed to have chemistry. Relationship between student - teacher is forbidden. Also LYF was supposed to 'curb' his feeling toward CZ. I feel there have been many dramas where ML didn't treat FL sincerely (or so many other reasons why they can't reveal their feelings). To me, this is just adding another cliché in ML role.
