Seungwoo growing a spine...? I will have to disagree...all his life was controlled by others, be it Jayeong and now by his aunt or more so theoratically, since it hasn't been confirmed, his mother. He was emotionnally manipulated into voting against Jaein, he did not come to this decision by his own. He is mentally weak, he would never be a competent chairman. In a sense, Jaein was right to tell her aunt that Seungwoo isn't ready for that position.

And no, placing Gichan has a placeholder CEO isn't a power move, it's a foolish move. Yes placing a puppet as a placeholder CEO is a brilliant move, but how in any world could Miran think Gichan would become a puppet? Because he signed a paper? Lol, how foolish. Miran saw Gichan cheating on his wife, drugging his wife, locking up her niece in a mental instituion, taking her niece's son away, buying her family house, and then saw him planning on taking over her family's company away and she really told herself: ''oh yeah what a great puppet he will actually do everything i want him to do!''

She is foolish and dumb and she will soon realize that a little piece of paper won't stop Gichan. That's why i can't even say she's evil or a villain, she's too dumb to be called that. Well, they're all kinda dumb in this show soo..

Exactly she only relied on Gichan, not ever questionning him at all or consulting the doctor in charge of her niece...she legit just gave up on her because Gichan said she was crazy and shouldnt get any visitor.

If she was cautious why would she align herself with a man who send her niece to a mental hospital, took her family's house, then tried to take over her family's buisness? Yes Gichan is giving well-thoughts answers and she is a complete dummy for believing his lies LMAO.

As for Jaein, yeah i guess you could see it that way, but really Miran showed from the start that she did not care about Jaein, i mean Jaein was locked up for 3 months and none of them questionned Gichan at all and just accepted that she was ''crazy''. Miran was the first to show signs of selfishness.

now that make sense, because indeed Jaein father intended for Seungwoo to become Chairman, so she probably is trying to follow her brother's wish. however, Aunt is dumb asf for believing that Gichan was the key to Seungwoo becoming chairman. and also did she really have to kick out Jaein and basically make her homeless?

like i said in my previous comment, i think Miran is far from the ill doings of Gichan and his family however she's not an angel either. i think she's a villain but not the main villain, she'll prob come to her senses later on and side with Jaein, if Jaein has it in her to forgive her.

visually stunning and the romance was good! however im disapointed in the plot and political intrigue. it's still an okay watch, however i can't help but feel tricked by the first 6 episodes that made us think there would be more political intrigue and not just fuffly romance

I think it depends on what you're looking for. if you're looking for a romance enemies to lover than yes it's good! the romance is great! the drama is also visually stunning. however if you're looking for a good plot with good historical and political intrigues then i would skip it.

Im sorry but i will have to disagree...if i was Jaein i would be able to forgive Miran but never in a thousand years could i forgive anything Gichan has done. And also we keep talking about what ppl have done to Jaein but can we also talk about what Gichan and his family has done to Eunho? Gichan and is family are blood related to Eunho, yet they kidpanned him, drugged and took away his mother and the rest of his mothers family, and now theyre forcing him to call Seri mom and to live with his father love child. Isnt Gichan and his family treason worse than Miran? Jaein was betrayed by her aunt while Eunho was literally betrayed by his own father..

I dont get it tho, yes she is bad but how can you despise her the most? 😭 Gichan and his family actions are wayy worse i mean theyve comitted murder, child kidnapping, mental and physical abuse to their daugther/sister in law, drugged, stole everything and locked the FL in a mental institution, the brother is a woman beater and we say she's the most despicable one? well it's kinda a given that Miran voted for Gichan she maybe even tricked her Mom votes to be for Gichan, i mean we shoud all blame Jaein for being dumb even if she had no plans of giving off the reins of the company to Seungwoo she should've just lied and say she would lol. Gichan was at least smart to promise her something she wants, but aunty is dumb asf for believing him lmao. This should be called Mr Dumb and Mrs Dumber.

honestly wouldn't be surprised if Seugwoo also voted against her just the way he looked at her when voting. I could also lowkey see ML voting against her, but later on regret it and help her get her revenge. anyways this episode was predictable we all knew Gichan was winning the chairman position, it's too soon for Jaein to win any fight.

the fact that seungwoo is her son is still only a theory. if it turns out that he is infact her son, and that she knew it was her son, then yes we could possibly say that she is evil.

and yes her supporting gichan is what she is wrong and annoying, but her motives are currently unclear, her actions don't make sense at all. it doesn't make sense if seungwoo is her son and it still doesn't make sense if he isn't, she's just acting weird?

btw sorry that im soo dumb and cannot see these ''obvious things'' i'm just enjoying the drama as it goes and not theorizing everything. we're just here to have fun no? we can disagree without the patronizing remarks! :)

I did not say she is good, im just saying she, in my book, isn't evil YET. I don't think you understand the seriousness of that adjective. For me evil means truly the worst of the worst, the most disgusting behavior on the planet. Gichan ill doings are light years ahead of Miran's actions. Anyways we will see today if she ends up betraying Jaein or not, but to me she's not even in the top 3 of the worst characters in this show but somehow you all have an obsession over her? Gichan, evil mother in law and Gichan's brother are up there lmao why are you all so focused on her when she's not even close to the evilness of the others...
