Can someone explain why this pia user is defending Siba?
"Siba is not a culprit" like what, girl? 😄I usually don’t call these things out, but it’s getting weird.
It’s perfectly fine to hate Siba (and rightfully so) and still like/be a fan of JJY at the same time. Most, if not all, of JJY’s Chinese fans also hate Siba, and they have every right to.

Now I kind of know why Youku didn’t promote this drama that much, they wanted to stay low-key since Siba is stalking VoS and JJY and probably threatening them with lawsuits. A clear sign of this is that as soon as VoS hit 2 million reservations, Siba immediately interfered.

I've seen people get labelled "haters" just for calling out racism. Calling out racism doesn't make you a hater.
It's all fun and games until you're in someone else's shoes. Let me tell you, if a Korean celeb said something like that about Chinese people, the backlash would be at least 100 times worse. I'm not even exaggerating.

Not necessary that the drama would air asap, but it’s something GJM would do as he has done with other dramas already. For example FoF, an iQiyi drama, it aired the very next day after it got distribution license.

In China, GJM is known for finishing things fast, and is probably the last guy that wants a delay here.

I don’t follow burning night, if it has no issues then it should air as scheduled.

There are ways too many factors that both GJM and Youku can’t control. Not only Youku but all other platforms as well, they aren’t gods. They have had a fair share of issues and had multiple dramas that got shelved.

That’s the point, when VoS was at #2, Unveil Jadewind was at #6 or #7. If Unveil Jadewind airs first, then VoS is delayed. It’s that simple.

As a long-time Youku user, I can tell you that the 'top 3' in the 'Coming Soon' section is a sign that those dramas are coming very soon. The fact that VoS was at #2 and is now at #3 is already not a good sign. And if Unveil: Jadewind airs before VoS, then VoS has 100% been delayed—there's no way around it.

If you are familiar with GJM, he’d air the drama as soon as it got distribution license, like he did with FoF. That’s his style.

It seems like people don’t realize that March is a terrible time to air a drama. Does it make sense for a big project like VoS to air in March? Absolutely not. If it airs in March, then something definitely happened behind the scenes.Let’s hope the Melon rumor is false.

I already had a bad feeling when they didn’t post a happy birthday poster for Xia Zhiguang. It seems like the tension is high, and the delay definitely happened.

That’s actually the concern here. It used to sit at #3 behind #2 The Unclouded Soul, now The Unclouded Soul has moved to #1, and VoS still at #3. The current #2 wasn’t on the list at all before and just randomly appeared.

Anyways, I hope there won’t be any delay.

I wonder if VoS got delayed, it used to sit behind “The Unclouded Soul” on coming soon and now suddenly “The Truth Within” jumped in front of VoS out of nowhere.

Actually, as a Youku user I can say that if a drama appears on the front page of Youku and at the top of the upcoming section, it’s a strong indication that the drama will air very soon. Let’s hope this drama airs smoothly.

Aren't the main leads of this drama kind of wholesome? All of the main leads are literally Joseph Zeng's good friends, which makes it even more interesting if you've watched both Lonely Boat and Rebirth for You 🤣🤣🤣 It's kinda cute.
