Yeah I also heard that they cut off a lot of scenes from the novel so the story felt rushed at many points. So glad that they decided to give VeeMark a full series cause despite the toxic elements their sotry feels real with many emotions that apply in real life, people get hurt, hurt others without realizing, make mistakes, try to make up, forgive , forget and start again. I think that's the charming part of VeeMark, how realistic it feels and it their relationship is a totaa roller coaster of mixed feelings. Concenring the rape scene, I agree it is not romantic at all and they should stop romantize it in bls, fortunately now we get more bls that talk about consent. Yeah I also felt like something was missing in the series. Like Vee did not properly apologize and Mark forgave him too easily. Your comment really helped me understand them better. I really hate cheating and it hurts me to witness it in a series that I watch to entertain myself but at least Vee seems to have acknowledged his mistakes and tries to make it up to Vee. I really hope there will be no rape scene on the upcoming series. Rape is a serious matter and it should not be treated lightly as it is in some bls. I agree with everything you said. It would be more satisfying to see the grandpa actually pay for his crime and not just get away with just a sorry,like he commited murder for God's sake! And about the couple I feel that either they should have met in another life or make Med human or something. But overall it was a good and unique story for the bl industry.
