I began watching Asian dramas in 2019 and have never turned back. It really is a rabbit hole - once you’re in it’s very difficult to crawl out! 
I use MyDramaList as a way to keep track of what I’ve watched (or plan to watch), and as a place to store my thoughts on the dramas. Being an Australian means I don’t have many friends who I can speak to about Asian dramas so this website is my substitute for that!

I compare each drama to only other Asian dramas when I rate them. However there are some Asian dramas that are truly top class and can stand up to great western dramas too!

I also rarely give out 10/10 scores. So if I’ve rated something 6-7/10, it’s worth the watch!
