I'm enjoying this a lot but I think they totally miscast Park Jin Cheol. Anyone who has read the webtoon knows he is an ahjussi but he isn't one who looks like he can't run a mile without dying.
Am I the only one who didn't recognize that the nurse Um Jeong Seon is Lee Soo Kyung? I've seen several of her dramas and think she's great but the combo of her hair and characters personality/voice had me thinking she was a different actor.
Nice one I think they have change the story from Webtoon I really wanted them to do live action of lookism Let’s…
They have definitely made some changes but I'm enjoying what they have done with just 1 episode. I couldn't agree more about lookism. The fact they haven't made a korean live action show is wild or even continue the animated adaption.
Before I checked out the first 2 eps I thought for sure this show was going to be corny. I'm glad to say I was all kinds of wrong on this one and IJY is killing it.
This show has been good so far but man does it make me angry. Soooo many people in this show need to get theirs and I'm beginning to think none of them will.
So is Lee Do Gyeong a pos for sure? like how her coworker was saying? I think I've only seen 1 drama with Lee Hyun Wook where he wasn't a pos character. After eps 1-2 I was like oh shit for once they're not going to be predictable and have him be a scumbag.
Was anyone else thrown off by the car hitting Lee Hyun Wooks character? I thought they were about to pull up and grab him then BAM! they launch his body like a rocket.
I feel like there's some problem with the US release on Hulu whyyy 😭
They used to release their kdramas same day then at some point they started doing a delayed episode release with every series and its been that way since.
This show makes me wonder how much of the story the leads knew before choosing this project. I don't know how it works but its clear the writers did them dirty. I can't imagine they know enough to see the bs that ruins the show and then still take the job. It makes ya wonder if they got sold on the show the same way most of us were in the beginning before everything went to shit.
Agreed! I knew I couldn't be the only one to find this behavior to be creepy. In the beginning I thought it might've been a little suspect but it quickly escalated to full on red flag with each action he takes. I don't know what direction they're going to take it but its primed for crazy stalker if they decide to go that way haha whether they intended for that or not.
At the end of the ep I was like "nahhh there's no way they're going to have the 2ml behind them baloons" haha wrong. I can't be the only person who thinks if this happened in real life it would be weird?
I think I missed something. I get she loses her powers but what does that have to do with her money? Does she still not have all the money she's been making all these years? I must've missed something when distracted cuz I can't make sense out of her being broke AND powerless.
Its wild that a show as good as this one is no longer on any streaming platform. Was planning to rewatch this only to find that it has been taken off netflix.
I've only seen 3 of Ji Sung's dramas this being the 4th but every one of them has been a banger. Some may not like the regression aspect like in Again My Life and Reborn Rich but I'm not one of them I think it makes for a fun show.
This show started well but were the constant flashbacks and multiple breakups necessary? I was locked in after the initial one but after it happened again I was like "wait what?". Am I trippin?
They should really consider making another season of this. When it comes to these law dramas 12 episodes feels short to me and even more so when they're really good. I'm not big on western style never ending season after season but if there is any type of drama that lends itself well to multiple seasons its law dramas.
“ Why did you impose a penalty that was as severe as one for murder “ You mean 7 years is for murder?? Are…
This is exactly how I felt and why I asked if a 7 year sentence is a lot. Its always weird for me in these dramas when they make less than 10 years seem like a big deal or a long sentence.
Is 7 years a lot for a sentence in SK? I enjoy many law dramas but the sentences always seem really short. I am from the US so I guess maybe I'm just used to people getting a longer sentence here for a lot of different crimes.
I started this by accident when I thought I clicked on Mr Queen and after I realized it wasn’t I decided to give the first ep a go. I have now been sucked in after that first episode.
Lee Soo Kyung? I've seen several of her dramas and think she's great but the combo of her hair and characters personality/voice had me thinking she was a different actor.
