Fantastic acting. I was honestly blown away by his role as Kiyoi. There was a whole episode of Utsukushii Kare…
I think they did good showing it because most of the people(fans) aren't that good in understanding not until it is told to them "verbally". They are like "he said disgusting, he is a jerk, he is cocky" and so on. They just want someone to spoonfeed them about interpretation and the characters cause they don't have much of a brain. Not to mention, what I felt good about that was that finally he let it all out and said what he felt than acting like 'i don't care'.
I myself have been both Hira and Kiyoyi and mostly Kiyoyi. I think every time he said "disgusting" is not because he actually found it disgusting but because he can't say "I like it" in the sense that would make him look vulnerable as for someone who always acts like he doesn't care. Like he has a hard outer cover and if he said that it would make him look weak in the eyes of the other person. He has this cold guy image he needs to carry off and it would be weird if he ever said "I like you". It will be embarassing for him because he is shy and at the same time scared that others might find it weird this coming from a cold guy. Characters like Kiyoyi are tough to understand in books as well as in real and I guess they are often misunderstood by people. People do not realise different people have different ways and different insecurities. What might be Norma for them to say might not be the same for the other. That is why Kiyoyi was having a hard time saying "I like you".
My favourite 2021 bl. Just finished it and god I watched it in one go!!! It is like how you usually place ur crush high up on a pedestal where u cannot reach. Someone who is out of your league. I mean what we normally do with our crushes or atleast I do. All this while they kept on showing Hira's POV but when they showed Kiyoyi's POV, for me it was the game changer. In all the ways Kiyoyi kept on helping Hira by acting like he doesn't care but HE DOES. Boy just doesn't know how to say it. He kissed, he even did everything to let him know he likes him which Hira couldn't understand probably because of his self-hate. It was nice seeing the crazy kind of love which they hardly show these days. But I enjoyed it alot.
In a period where ' you are my glory' and 'falling into your smile' weren't there, this would have been great…
In a period where "Falling into your smile" is there and despite that it still remains a fav of many when it comes to e-sports means that the show did what it meant to do. Take out the gaming animation crap and all that is left is a cold guy falling in love with his gaming partner who doesn't know how to act ( falling into ur smile).
One thing I love about this drama is how much it portrays ordinary family life. It feels very real at times. A…
I think that's because it's based on e-sports and the female lead is not into e-sports. That is why the focus has been more on the ML's career as well as all others who are into e-sports.
