Love transcends all

Where do I even start? I mean I just finished it right now and I feel this weird kind of heaviness. This is one of those shows that I am going to feel nostalgic about. Everything about it was so saddening yet beautiful. All actors did an outstanding job especially the main lead (Fandy). The direction, the lines, the ost were totally on point. Despite knowing how the show is going to end right from the very start you still feel this gravitational pull to continue watching it. It has made me feel so empty right now honestly speaking. It just hits you like like a train I mean it is just so painful yet pretty in its own way. How this one love story helped in bringing together so many people and made us question our own love for those whom we love.

It teaches you alot about love and humans. Makes you have so many doubts about your own relationships. It actually literally shows you how pure love can be, transcending even death. How love is more bluer than blue itself that it can surpass time amd continue to live in other people's minds, stories and hearts.

The story is about two people in love who can do anything for each other's happiness even if it means hurting your ownself in the process, about the sacrifices they made for each other and how despite everything their love continues to inspire people.

I will recommend watching it because after a very long time I felt like I will remember a show for the months and years to come. It just hits you right on the spot, makes sure that all your intestines get wrecked and still manages to make you want more of it. I hope the two lovers get a happy ending in their next life.

A POIGNANT TREAT!!!!

Lol, so I don't even know why I started this but I feel so glad that I did. Everything about this show is just so on point. The acting is literally so good that I have added some shows of the male lead in my PTW. The background music is so commendable. It's not like other shows where the music comes only in certain episodes or sometimes not even that. But here it's like everything has bgm and different tunings going on depending upon the scene. And it is just so apt. Like you will be so into the scene that you will not realise that this bgm is what is actually making it even more watchable, exciting and full of anticipation. The CGI is really good especially the colour palatte that the have chosen for this drama. It is basically and quite obviously a sad romance story with I guess loads of angst and politics. It's like you will be watching it and will be feeling really heavy like everything is very beautiful yet it has a certain gloom to it. Like the colour palatte though beautiful is basically a dull one. Similarly the instruments too give a heavy feeling of pain and loss. Also, the chemistry between the leads is no joke!!! You can really feel the tension between them and feel so giddish like a child being happy whenever the two get closer. It is basically a slow burn and obviously it cannot be everybody's cup of tea. But if you are into it then it is worth the watch so far. I AM ABSOLUTELY HEAD OVER HEELS FOR LITERALLY EVERYTHING IN THIS SHOW.

This drama i finished around two months back but yet here i am. You just can't get over it.

POTENTIAL WASTED.

So, initially I was super excited and even enjoyed watching it thinking there's alot more to come ahead. But nothing come ahead except dissapointment. It started off pretty decent and nice like two adorable nice guys having same interest(cooking) falling in love. Sounds good right? But it isn't. I think the ones who watched it while airing still managed to watch it because one snail speed episode is still manageable. But for those planning to binge watch, it will be really not worth. Leave worth it won't even be your average show because you are probably going to find it boring. I was really liking that well plated food, organic colours, constant staring but that is literally what they kept on showing in all those 11 episodes. The actors were nice and this show even had the potential but the plot literally just went all bland. No spice, no flavours just plain.

BL and not bromance

Okay how do i even start. Firstly, the story/plot I would say is good not remarkable but good. The entire plot revolves around this revenge of Wen Ke Xing. What I love about the plot the most is the overall character development. Like Zhou Zhi Shu, a man with stoic and cold expressions who preferred duty over love took a U-turn. As the episodes progess you start seeing the beauty of Zho Zhi Shu as the man starts to smile, tease and show his vulnerable side. In the end he preferred his soulmate over anything. That was a huge ass development in his character as you get to see his soft side, his emotional side, his loving and teasing nature. You just keep on falling in love with this man with every passing episode. The other one is Wen Ke Xing who yet again was a flirt in the beginning and would never talk about his past or cry too began to open up to his A-Xu and cried. A-Xu illuminated his world with light, showed him the path and finally was able to show him the right direction that Wen Ken Xing lacked. They started with bickering and ended with willingness to die for each other. Other one is Scorpion, the guy who was so much deluded by what his father said, did what his father commanded ended up plotting against his own father. Secondly, OST. Oh god! I for even once never skipped the opening music. It is really good and so is the ending song. Now everytime I will be hearing it I am gonna be bombarded with all these memories of this show. Acting was really flawless. Even that father's acting was so remarkable that I couldn't like him for once. His acting was amazing and so was of all other side characters. I especially loved Zhang Zhe Han's acting. Why? Because of tiny gestures and details that he showed in his expressions even when he did not have his dialogue. His entire posture, expressions, silliness, coldness, anger, pain, smile, affection was so raw. His character was not expressive as that of Wen Ke Xing. But even without that this man was able to convey every emotion. Everytime he smiled i felt like it's not Wen Ke Xing's life that's being illuminated but my own. It was all so innocent. What I love the most is that they are anti-heroes, grey chars and not the typical white and black. The have done bad deeds infact loads of bad deeds but it is the heart that matters, right? And also, my innocent Cao Wei Ning is a very tender and down to earth simple man who fell in love with this stupid, destructive, loving and affectionate woman, A-Xiang. Their love was so beautiful. After watching BLs I thought I no longer liked hetro love but these two brought me back to my senses by displaying how beautiful it too can be. It is completely rewatchable. Why? Because even when I was so behind, already knew what was going to happen in coming episodes and even watched without subs I still waited everyday patiently to watch it. That's how much thrilled I was. SO DO WATCH THIS SHOW AND FALL IN LOVE WITH ALL THE CHARACTERS!!!
