Chinese drama world is extremely complicated.
There will be people who aren't related to the drama, that want the drama to fail. So they will push rumors to cause trouble. One of the simplest ways is to cause fan wars among the drama cast but believe me, there are much more complicated schemes.
Even if you are Chinese, if you don't know the situation and in general, don't have experience, you will easily be caught in their traps. My advice is to avoid Weibo at least at the start until you can find someone to guide you through. It doesn't sound fun I know but better safe than sorry.

This is an anti post, meant to cause fan wars because it talks about Xiao Zhan scenes and his highlights being taken away from him and given to Zhang Jingyi.
Some smaller roles have already finished, rumors say it should wrap up around the 25th.
Lots of dates in play, you can basically take your pick from 25th of May to June 6th. Honestly I don't think they are actually extending the wrap up, it's just that the melon masters don't have precise information and are more guessing because they know it's happening around that time.
XZ new movie is said to be getting an announcement soonish, and that will only happen after this has wrapped up so it won't be long now. Probably a week or ten days, especially as some roles are already done.
Huang Jue wrapped today. It's a good indicator they are on track for around the ~25th. I don't think it will be much longer. Pray for a trailer on wrap up!
Youku has it marked for 2024, we will know more after the conference. It's certainly possible. The really long post-production times are for CGI heavy dramas and this one isn't it.

So all I have been saying is that expecting plenty of romance is only going to raise expectations for what isn't there. There is a script available, yes and no, it's not a romance focused drama. It's best to manage expectations and there will be no disappointment later on.
