Many actors vied for it but as we have now learned considering the timing of the offer, it has been in XZ's sights for way longer than we initially thought. Still, nothing weird about others trying for it. Once it became apparent it is his, months ago, the frenzy for the support roles casting really took off.

I am saying all this because once you take all this into consideration, you will understand why antis are so insane about it. In China, for about a month and a half now, the same group that led the anti activities against Zanghai, has been trying to push the idea that this drama cannot be filmed and that XZ isn't Qi Xia. They are desperate because their own idol is doing poorly and have been joined in this by other antis whose idols have a habit of attacking XZ out of some misplaced stupid belief that this will help theirs.

To illustrate how insane it is, even though XZ is already there and is being welcomed by both official media and institutions for this very drama, they are still pushing the idea that he is not Qi Xia. This was the same operation that happened during Zanghai.

So don't be surprised we have active antis here, causing all this mess. The role of QX belonging to XZ is their nightmare. It is going to continue being bad so just try to post as many positive posts as you can. It will be downvoted, so once it broadcasts, please don't forget to rate and review.

This is just how it is when a superstar like XZ enters a highly sought after group like this one. I am sorry fans of other actors will get caught up in all this and be attacked for it but please, just ignore it. The benefits always outweigh all the anti mess.

This drama has no female lead but is a male centric drama. That's the simple truth. This drama is going to cost millions to film. The investment is massive. As the lead role everything is on Xiao Zhan's shoulders. It is his name that brings the investors for such numbers. If this goes wrong, the director and him are going to be up against the wall for it. No different in plot, which I won't spoil. As such, yes, proper attribution is a must. The one who carries the responsibility, and the risk, and the plot, gets his proper place and that is Xiao Zhan.

She isn't any more brave than the other female supporting roles that exist in this drama, that will be named when the official announcement comes. Her possible role isn't even the most important supporting role. Since we are talking about this melon as if it were true, then both Hu Xianxu and Aarif Rahman come next and then Wei Daxun and yes, Li Wanda and Li Zhiting and Li Zefeng. If you are interested in other actresses we have Duan Xiaowei, Lan Yingying, Mao Xiaotong, Zhang Yaqin.

I am sorry if you dreamed of her as a main role in a XZ drama but you will have to settle for supporting. If the drama does well she will still eat at the table more than she ever could otherwise so it's surely a happy thing and she doesn't have one tenth of the responsibility 🤷
