Oooohh, damn I might hv missed that before, wtff😭

I have watched my fair share of shows that have red flag leads, to my shore, revenged love, iwtv, my stand in, to name a few. And in all of these bl, Fan Xiao, Chicheng, Lestat, Ming have all been characters that I have loved. Red or Black whatever flag you wanna call it, but it was clearrrr that they were the bad guys. This show does not do that, it's trying to portray Lufeng as the 'good guy that turned bad bcuz his feelings got trampled over' and I'm finding it a bit... Different.

Red flags are supposed to be emotionally manipulative and gaslighting pieces of work. If anything YC is more manipulative than LF.

And no one forced me to watch it, I am allowed to not like a character's certain actions. I can hate and rant over My Little Pony if I wanted to.

I absolutely cannot remember who the guy is that hit klao in the last ep, who is he? Has he appeared in the show before?

I absolutely agree with almost all the points you made. True villain is the society they are surrounded by. Both of them are toxic in their own ways, LF being aggressive as he is and YC being the avoidant that he is. LF deciding to cut ties with his family was a huge move for their relationship but this isn't "if i can do it, you have to too". YC being unable to leave his family is rooting into him being a coward and still wanting to be loved by his mother. Maybe it is bcuz he values his mother's love more than LF's hence why he takes his love for granted. Him making empty promises of never leaving and then just readily giving up is indeed very selfish of him. A 'sane' person would probably fall out of love with such a person but then again LF is absolutely not sane, he is obsessive. meanwhile YC is just.. not THAT obsessed.

I do think that everything went out of control due to a combination of LF's anger fueled by YC's decision to 'take a break'. LF going berserk indirectly lead to the thing he soo didn't want, they breaking up. And ofc the brother getting severely injured even though it was an accident also made it quite clear there's no going back no matter how much LF apologizes.

LF is not alone in having to hide the relationship, they ALL have to hide. QL was only there as the boss, if they had revealed their relationship i absolutely don't think the mom would have just accepted it. He was only there bcuz the mom didn't know who he was. And it was quite insensitive of the younger brother to flaunt their happiness when he knew YC could not do the same, but we have already established that he is quite childish.

And they did spend New Year's together, just not at YC's home.

The mom shoving the burden of being "normal" only on YC is just wrong but we all know that. No one is even gonna try defending the mother, but the thing is YC still does love his mother, no matter how manipulative she is. And LF instead of understanding this, tries to yell it out to her as if that is gonna make her accept them.

LF "pointing out the double standards" is low-key what spirelled into them breaking up..

First of allllll, how tf are most people here SUPPORTING lu feng!!?!!???? ARE WE EVEN WATCHING THE SAME SHOW???!?

Is the mom an ABSOLUTE bitch? YESSSS SHE FVCKING IS!! She'd rather DIE than see her son happy, and whatttttt family does she think the son can have he has already said he's in love with someone already!!! God, i hate her soooo muchh!!!!!

Is yichen being quite selfish in trying breaking up with lufeng just because of his mom? ALSO YESS!! after promising to never leave, one adversity is enough to completely ABANDON the person you claim to LOVE?? but one respite that I can offer him is that, his mom is DYING and he is very emotional due to that. Unlike lufeng, yichen's relationship with his mother is atleast somewhat amicable even though he is so repressed that he can't be himself around her. So ofcourse he feels like he has to the SON that she wants him to be because he still loves his mother..

BUT LU FENG SO GO TO HELL FOR ALLLLLL I CARE!!! he saw how hurt and angry the mom got after seeing him, and even with 3 people telling him to leave at that moment he chose to double down on that hurt as if THAT was gonna make the mother accept them. Revealing the younger brother's relationship right in that moment was such a bad move even though it was motivated by anger, it's not excusable. and then when yichen tried to break up with him , he brings up that fact of how he cut ties with his family as if it's the same for yichen. Lufeng's dad was physically and mentally ABUSIVE whereas yichen's mom is emotionally manipulative at worst, that's a big difference. And then what was lufeng even planning to do when he tied yichen up , go to the mother and what? yell at her to accept them? In her condition it was probably gonna end her killing her tbh. And ofc the pushing the brother away, even tho it wasn't what he wanted, he did push him DOWN THE FKING STAIRS!!!

All in all, at this point i stand with yichen in wanting to break up with lufeng. Lu feng has severe anger issues and he was NOT a green flag to begin with (i mean, the first two nc scenes we saw were BOTH non-consensual) let's see whether the show can change my mind about this character.

I hoppppe the father isn't an absolute bitch about that CCTV clip that he saw but i know that's is gonna be too good to be true. And props to the inspector for at least trying to hide it from the father.

This is my first TayNew series and I'm in love with them already!! First ep was sooo funny, I hope the rest are equally as good.

um, what tf did i just watch... what even was the plot.. wtf

i am really liking the actors and the acting, especially lu feng, qin lang and jr yichen. sometimes older yichen's acting does make me cringe, but like a cute cringe i guess.

i guess the only thing i dislike is some sections of the storyline when it comes to lu feng

1. the younger brother is quite childish with how he clings to yc, being close w ur sibling is different and jumping onto them is wayyy different..

2. should qin lang have told him about the date before going? yesss, but seeing as how sensitive (read: childish) the guy is, i can see why he did not. altho i can see why yichen would get upset and angry, but the confrontation could have been easily resolved if they just talked..

3. for the nc scene between qin lang and yichen, it was hot, consensual and GOOD!! the exact opposite of wht it was when lu feng and yc had s*x for the first time. it's clear how different the experience was seeing wht happened after each scene

4. also, congrats to the main couple for finally getting a consensual scene even if it was interrupted (my first thought when that happened was 'ofc they got interrupted, yichen actually wanted it and we CANNOT have a happy yichen in this house' lol)

and Sky's reaction when krit kissed wayu was so funny, he literally went 😱😱

wayu really got krit acting like a fool barely a week into the relationship, lmao i'm here for ittttt!! and poom is sooo pretty. and up looked so adorable when he was angry while wearing the cat ears asdnjnksjd!! this show is giving me so much lifee
