1. the younger brother is quite childish with how he clings to yc, being close w ur sibling is different and jumping…
i am really liking the actors and the acting, especially lu feng, qin lang and jr yichen. sometimes older yichen's acting does make me cringe, but like a cute cringe i guess.
i guess the only thing i dislike is some sections of the storyline when it comes to lu feng

2. should qin lang have told him about the date before going? yesss, but seeing as how sensitive (read: childish) the guy is, i can see why he did not. altho i can see why yichen would get upset and angry, but the confrontation could have been easily resolved if they just talked..
3. for the nc scene between qin lang and yichen, it was hot, consensual and GOOD!! the exact opposite of wht it was when lu feng and yc had s*x for the first time. it's clear how different the experience was seeing wht happened after each scene
4. also, congrats to the main couple for finally getting a consensual scene even if it was interrupted (my first thought when that happened was 'ofc they got interrupted, yichen actually wanted it and we CANNOT have a happy yichen in this house' lol)

Lu Feng did a lot of terrible things to Yi Chen. Removing every toxic, abusive or SA element would completely…
i'm aware that not every story is supposed to be rainbows and sunshine and i personally have not read the source material so this is my first expression of the character. I can get behind the fact that lu feng does terrible things and hence that would make him the bad guy, a "Black Flag", BUT till now we have not seen him being depicted as bad, he's being shown as a good guy who's hurting and hence he's choosing to force himself on the other guy and then we're going back to the narrative of how "sad and miserable he is bcuz he isn't getting loved" this is however my first impression of the character, it might change as the episodes go on
damn they really could have done without the r*pe scene in ep4, i was actually rooting for lu feng before that, bcuz the backstory was really adorable up until their separation... if it had been some forceful kissing, it could have been easier to look past it (that's SA too btw, no excuses at all)
