Well, it's not a romance (at least not mainly), so I don't think it would be impossible. But I don't think it would make sense. And for it to make sense, is way more important than a shocking twist.

you have to watch season 2 to understand season 3 because season 1 is separate from season 2 and 3. :)
It's not seperate, just main doctors are changed, but they are mentioned and based on ending of episode 4, there will be important throwbacks to season 1...

he was always Supporting characer - but he will probably have more scenes soon - and I think he has same amount of spotlight as in the first two seasons
