this is based on real story and it shows how police wasnt able to find the killer at the time and the tragedy of it, and right at the begnning it was clear Tae Ju doesnt know him (or only briefly known him/met him), so I dont get why you are let down... it makes sense this way and this was not the drama when the identity of killer is the core of the story at all, I and others stated this since this drama started
