She appears to be seriously malnourished in her latest drama & I get sad every time I see her legs. edit: She looks healthier in the later episodes :-)
After this ended, there's nothing good to watch π Any good webnovel (preferably chinese), anime or drama recommendation???
There are many great ones.
-Put Your Head on My Shoulder -My Secret Boy (this one has a breakup in the middle, but otherwise fantastic) -Go Go Squid 2 -You Are My Glory -Meet Yourself -Love the Way You Are -My Story for You -Forever and Ever -Moonlight -Love O2O (respect the art not the artist) (Hi Venus, Falling Into You)
He definitely is interesting as he has a better storyline than the rest but what I don't get is shipping him with…

I'm not an expert in comparing really bad plots with each other, but If I look at the other storylines i feel extreme doubt. At least the older women had entertaining flashbacks & their characters have a low degree of dimensionality, as opposed to a very pretty manchild villain with a complicated past I don't care about.
I can't believe its 2023 and people (Korea) still casually make fat jokes
In terms of being open and inclusive the Korean society is similar to America in the sixties. You know 'I Dream of Jeannie' and stuff.. (and they have their own problems with extreme toxicity that America never had)
While I don't think fat jokes are fine, I can just press my FF button & enjoy the rest of the show. (Also consider that in Korea very few people are fat, so there is very little pushback)
On ep. 5 Kdramas, can we please stop adding random white people? Especially when they can't act worth a damn..…
The horrible English is oftentimes on the Korean voice actor, because yes they do that. They hire actors capable of speaking decent English & then dub over their voices to make it easier to understand for Koreans, despite the subs.
