Stronger start than finish but I still had a good time
This started with a bang for me. The humor was just stupid enough to win my heart, and Maxky played it so well. I loved that inital energy a LOT. And they maintained that for a solid 8 episodes. The remaining two weren't terrible, but they lacked that same energy.
My favorite part was Maxky's comedic acting. Thats when this one really shined. Its goofy funny, to be clear, but it was very well executed. I was less enthused about Bas/Zo. Zo was a good counterpoint to Maxky/Thi, but they painted him too softly. I'm glad they didnt make him a brat, but he always presented as too sweet for my taste.
The supporting cast was decent. I especially liked Jeng/Laem. The second couple was definitely nice on the eyes, but their story was too choppy and complicated.
And there was too much gameplay, especially in the final episode. Compared to how the gaming was presented in the opening episode, which totally sold me on this series, it wasn't as interesting.
It was a good watch, but its competing with other currently airing comedies like Duty First (which maybe isnt a fair comparison because it is outshining most of what's out there, past or present). And I dont think I would rewatch this one.
