Someone share in below. It pass censored in web drama, but not TV drama. I’m so glad still pass if not i will…
they are actually supposed to be the same, it used to be different, but they changed it last year? the year before? the process could be different though. but then again, Go Go Squid had to change esport to hacking competition, and The KIng's Avatar gave up broadcasting on TV to keep the esport aspect, so who knows.
mostly, it's just the romance is not overt or outright stated. you technically can't have teenage (high school) romance, but there's all these youth dramas with couples practically going out, but they never actually say it, and it's fine. it's still utterly surprising how MUCH the production team manage to slip in.
okay but more seriously, so they couldn't be together because of the blood shed that other people who were vaguely…
She's definitely much more idealistic compared to Ning Yi cos of how she grew up, but I don't think she was dumb. She was actually more irritating in the beginning because she had no context of what's going on (certain situations in first 15 episodes). She was fairly in sync with Ning Yi till ep 50ish, they disagreed on how to go about making the empire better or defeating the enemies but I actually like that part. She was overwhelmed with blood feud but still fairly understanding of Ning Yi till ep 63. As for the ending arc, the idea was she blamed herself for every death that was related to her, I don't particularly like part of her personality but it's been that way the entire drama.
Their initial big clash was over the fact he believed she caused death of his subordinate (ep 15 ~ 20ish), they both have pretty sound reason for why they did what they did, although you could say Zhiwei was bit too trusting and rash, I think she learnt to be more careful later. Then it's ep 22ish over Crown Prince and the princess, which is again clashing of ideals. I don't remember big conflicts during Second Prince & Minhai arc. I think the whole situation with her mum is pretty understandable too.
I'm not defending that last arc though, the chain of events is just really bad writing, and it's clear they were piling on misunderstanding to push her over the edge.
Ni Ni stars in a new costume/fantasy drama called Love & Destiny. It has a happy ending, btw. The new drama is…
Just noting it's not actually a spin-off, it does use similar concepts but they are common in xianxia. The sets and directing style does look similar cos the production team is the same.
There will be probably another season. That happens a lot in cdramas. They do not make it obvious, but after a…
@hhtahsin: I genuinely doubt it. Sequels are generaly in minority in cdramas, because often the source doesn't have a sequel and writing from scratch is too much hassle/risky.
@Linda_KD: This is how the book ends too, the author wrote what amounts to beginning of an epic, and have yet to continue it. For Princess Agent, the source novel was way too long, and the production team just bombed in adapting it.
70 episodes. china why, i love historical dramas but everytime i want to watch one it's like taking up a part-time…
NRTA is actually proposing 40 episode limit, which I think is for the best, unless it's an actual epic, like Qin Empire or Romance of Three Kingdoms. Anyways, for this drama, I was definitely wary of the episode count. but after watching it, it actually could use more episodes due to pacing. If you think 70 ep is too intimidating, I say try going for 15 episodes at a time, there's mini arcs and you can totally think of them as seasons :P
Hi All! We are from The King's Avatar Drama douban group. We formed a new Fansub team, TKA Pikachu, hoping overseas…
Hey, appreciate you guys subbing for non-chinese speaking fans. Just want to give you a heads up that the King's Avatar discord (associated with the TKA reddit) have someone subbing the episodes too. Perhaps you can contact them and split the workload?
drop, you've watched the better parts of the drama, it mostly gets worst after that. there are some nice shipping…
PYHOMS is very much a drama you watch while winding down or something. Historical, maybe Nirvana in Fire? the Rise of Phoenixes (on netflix)? Young Blood? Love & Destiny?

I was going to try rec'ing dramas but you have some quality plan to watch. I say go back a couple of years and dig. I think if you have 30mins to kill, it's easier to pick a nice school drama or fluff drama than continue this lol.
So I skipped a few scenes but after finishing it I seem to have skipped the reason for Mucheng's brother Muqiu…
It's implied Muqiu died, in the book it's specifically stated he died from a car crash, but it's mentioned fairly late in the book. IDK how you missed it, but Mucheng's contract expired and she didn't renew it. She literally walked to Xing Xin after her final match was done, and they welcomed her back into the team (should be ep 38 or 39).
I know this has ended already. I was stuck at 29 for a long time, I finally managed to watch a few more. Is it…

I have a question - when did Prince Helian realize that Zhi Wei and Wei Zhi were the same person? Because as far…
Ep 33? 3x, the one where Ning Yi almost got derobed in court (his lineage was in question), Helian Zheng was essentially a background post for most of the scene, but he was staring at Wei Zhi. Then afterwards, he caught up with Wei Zhi and Ning Yi talking and he was hinting about marrying Zhi Wei or something to see their reaction, he was fishing basically, and got it confirmed. ZW and WZ do have the same face after all, she only gets away with it because most people never see Zhi Wei, basically everyone that do finds out.
watch the rise of phoenixes, NiNi acting's is really amazing. the series is slow at beginning, because it has…
Lol, both depressing and suffer from pacing issue. Although I guess NiF2's pacing issue show up later. (I do recommend both...) cdrama isn't that good at light romance I think, there's a couple pretty good school drama though, if you watch those. My Huckleberry Friends is my go to, but it's light on romance and more down to earth than expected. mhmm Gank Your Heart or Young Blood (idk if this has subs....)
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm on episode 5 and still don't get why people love this drama to this extent.…
You are not alone. I actually watched the drama for the friendship and the flashback/team solo that lot of people complain about because it adapted the parts of the other book in the series that I liked more. The adaptation is actually bit better than the book in showing female lead more, and round off some plot holes.
Drama only got a 7.0 on Douban, way lower than the anime's 8.2 there. Does any1 know why?
Complaints about promotion tactics, dissatisfaction with Ye Xiu's casting and some changes to plot that lead to slightly different characterisations (common issue with adaptations and I think it's within acceptable range). Note that drama have a bigger base than anime on douban generally speaking, and the scores shouldn't be compared across. I personally look at 7+ for cdramas and 8+ anime if I looked at douban scores.
