Very well said. I dropped the drama around ep 8. Really tried to watch it but it was just so slow-paced, boring, and other issues that you mentioned. The only positive was the great acting and of course the visuals of the FL and ML.
I have been watching k dramas since 2010 and this is definitely the one of the most overrated one in my opinion. It wouldn't have nearly as high ratings if you switched out Kim Soo Hyun for a less popular ML.
