Watching this, YG, TPOB and THP concurrently, I’m finding it hard to separate the villains lol. I’m literally drowning in middle age evil men in beard and robe
Whew finally managed to slog through the final few eps despite the paper thin plot and most annoying villain I’ve ever seen.
It’s a testament to the chemistry of the main couple (and the second couple) as well as the likability of the individual performers that I was still invested in their ending. LXY’s characters always treats his FLs so well and HYX was simply adorable. I enjoyed just watching their interactions whether it’s making moon eyes at each other or simply chit chatting lol. The CGI and OST, while not particularly outstanding, worked well to create a romantic vibe.
Despite the reshoots I didn’t really notice any evidence of digital tampering or differences due to aging. We’ll never know if the constraint impacted the way they were able to tell the story. I’m just amazed they managed to stretch this to 40 eps!
