Also I think production team recognised the intense chemistry between them over the other female characters, so they kept more of their screen time compared to others.

I think in general extreme beauty standard applies in Asia and China entertainment. It’s different if this hard work will win FL some Oscar, but this is basically idol drama, consumed and over in a month.
