Interesting, but wardrobe so bad it detracted.
Really wanted to like this, but the wardrobe was SO bad it was distracting. Didn't know what era it was cast in from scene to scene. Were we in a flash forward or what? Clothing from the 60's to 90's eras were just bad. Vhicles from the 50's and other items that were not yet invented in the 1930's. Would love to see a remake with greater attention to wardrobe and greater historical accuracy.The trope of the strong woman who becomes weak and needs rescuing constantly didn't age well either. Women are the backbone of society. Need depictions of how the strength, tenacity, courage, devotion, love and just pure cussed grit of women has made civilization survive!
