Zhi Dai, who got a second chance at life by becoming young again, shines in her solo scenes much more than in the ones with Tang Hua. The same goes for Tang Hua. If the story had focused on him as a friend to Yuan Zhong, his arc couldāve been so much more impactful. But thanks to the cringe love angle their scenes ended up feeling dull and unnatural, lacking the emotional weight they could have had.
Ji Tanyin is honestly one of the best female leads out there. She's not childish or overly dramatic , thereās a calm strength in the way she speaks that naturally draws you in. This might just be one of the finest portrayals of a goddess Iāve seen. She treats everyone with genuine respect and kindness, staying neutral and compassionate whether it's the war demons or the Youhu clan. She truly understands the struggles each side faces, and carries herself with such grace and empathy itās impossible not to admire her. Tiffany Tang did a great job and she's beautiful š
