For me, hana yori dango did it well. It catches the charm, the chemistry, the humor and was able to keep it non toxic. Thai version , i think, is following Japanese version closely so it's also good.

I watched i told sunset about you, and i didn't quite like it much. There were things that intrigued me but most of the things were bad to make me like it and then when i saw other people liking it so much and giving it high praises, maybe it's just me lol Aside from that, it has happened to me many times that i did liked the series but was so tired of it that i couldn't be bothered to watch the last episode or sometimes i just watched them for the sake of completing them.
I agree on almost all of them, i would love to see how they turn out if they ever got made especially another Cinderella story, maid sama and i sold my life for 10000 yuan. But 3 idiots and Star Wars would just look weird and out of place so they are a no for me but others yes please!
