Came back here to check out the rating and it dropped from its peak 9.0 to 8.8 now. I remember there were absolutely avid fans of this drama when it was airing, you couldn’t say anything critical about it or be ganged up on. I really wanted this drama to do well as I was enjoying it so much and felt it had the potential to do even better than Hidden Love, alas it failed me in the second half because it didn’t follow the original novel. No one believed me when I said the ratings won’t be higher than Hidden Love. Guess what, I just came here to tell all of those people I TOLD YOU SO!!!! 😝🤓🤪

Also because it’s different from the usual xianxia in terms of plot. Most of the xianxia is about love across 3 realms, this one was refreshingly different.

For me it’s the glossy lips 😂

Maybe not your type of drama? I loved it from the beginning, loved the leads, they were so much fun, and I loved the humor!

I’d say very little romance but you feel lots of love. The Double had lots of flirting which you won’t find in this drama, it’s got more romance than LOZH but the core of the story is more growth orientated

I really enjoyed it, especially the funny scenes

I also just did a rewatch! I miss them often

It’s one of the best dramas for me - lots of character growth, emotions, adventure! But if you’re only watching for certain actors or actresses who are not the leads, you won’t enjoy it for what it is.

Lol yeah the first episode really hooks you! I think the episodes in between will have some hits and some misses, as with most variety shows
