I'm so conflicted. I like the premise of the show but the pace is not so great. I like FL and ML's individual characters and so much want them to meet. It almost feels like two random strangers, where one is trying to solve a puzzle and the other does her own thing and doesn't know he exist. I've never watched a show where the main leads NEVER meet after half way through it. I also get this unique storyline where they just can't for obvious reasons, but I can't help feel my fast-forwarding at times and most likely they will never build that chemistry or probably rush through it. But then I am half way through it and still hoping that the storyline starts moving more. How should I put it? It feels like wasted potential chemistry. I hope the actor and actress collaborate in another show.
girl I was really rooting for this show but its so fvcking draggy like its already 5 episodes in and the leads…
I hear you I am getting rather impatient too after the 4th episode with the flashbacks and overanalyzing of every minute detail. I wish they can somehow build a chemistry but it's rather hard if they can't physically be around each other. The only thing I think is they sort of recognize his other's existence and can barely even call themselves acquaintances.
I get where you are coming from. But I think the storyline is to focus that she's a witch. The synopsis said she loves to where pretty clothes but she's mostly wearing dull outfits here and wears a hat that covers her face so I don't get how realistic is that she can attract all men.
The visuals are and cinematography are really something. They are really quite a match. I wonder if it's both love at first sight seems like ML has it harder.
I hoped her character has any redeeming qualities but she hasn't shown any yet. She's like the worst friend and girlfriend. At least she sort of admits her true identity now which I give her some credit. Even if they separate soon, I hope she can live her life authentically and stop being fake and materialistic as she claims.
How do you know these are good? I’m just always curious how people know which dramas to anticipate, coz I always…
sometimes I look at the cast but acting and storyline is key. In all 3, they have the elements for success. I am caught up on all of them. The first few episodes will give you an indication if it's good or not and whether its worth your time. Personally though, I go for the feel of the show if it suits my taste. There's some overpromoted high-budgeted shows unappealing, but I find gems in underrated small-budgeted ones. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
Went in thinking it's going to be a regular rom-com but OH wow this drama is sooo good and addicting. I binged all 4 episodes in one go and no boring scenes. The leads have awesome energy and I learned a lot of medicine. I hope this keeps up.
After QQ and SC got together, I began wondering if QQ is showing him her new side or if she is just following a dating book on how to capture a tough guy's heart in a month. I feel like she is not being genuine and just trying to change her persona to fit his ideal. There is something off about her and feels hypocritical when she says one thing ("Iet's not talk about him") and chase after him. I was hoping that she develops as a character after her heartbreak but it's as if she's happy to have conquered him. I guess she really likes him but I think their relationship still feeds sort of one-sided. Unfortunately, I can see why they will break up cause she is still rather immature and has some hidden arrogance. If they do break up, I hope she becomes better with how she treats her friends though (aka not cutting off the conversation mid-way).
Yes they will breakup and realize their lifestyles are different, their love story was never normal to begin with,…
Maybe I love a good plot twist and hope they stay together and work out their problems and reconcile their differences to see how they develop and become more mature.
Honestly, QiQi feels miles away from our sweet trio who share a genuine bond and friendship with one another...Even…
Yeah same. I like her character before but then I found that she is still very superficial and not so genuine. I hope she develops and becomes more mature in the end.
