My post wasn't about the bad scriptwriting. I am as much frustrated with the awful writing. You had recommend others don't watch at all, I just said it's still watchable but only the first half is worth their time. Anything else is for them to decide and criticize afterwards - I still think the cast of actors and actresses still did a good job, the songs and cinematography despite the terrible script.
I actually partly disagree, watch the first half and drop it after that cause that was actually decent. The main leads does not deserve this, they did their best and their newfound chemistry makes me their fan even when the drama went downhill.

I'm not justifying she is off the hook for being a bad storyteller and owning up to her mistakes. She doesn't have to apologize, it's not like she committed a crime for so-called poor creativity, it just means she's terrible at her job and no one will follow her future projects if her name is attached to it.
what’s the scriptwriter saying? the streets are saying she’s arrogant and doesn’t want to apologise after…
She at LEAST recognizes the mountain of criticisms. She didn't choose to full romance route cause she got wants to try something different and got inspiration from another novel? She knows fans are mad cause of the unnecessary drama, Cheewan's childish mistakes and Sruj's ex-lover. She believes the main leads passed the difficult test. Her explanation is that FL never got her heart broken in her life? She still graduated and married him after her studies. She will not hesitate on her choice and Sruj will always be loyal to her alone even when he was with his ex-lover, which will bring us back to how it was suppose to be the novel, she is saying people: there is no perfection in real life and everyone makes mistakes so through patience, it will be better in the near future. Like Cheewa getting pregnant and making mistakes in life, deal with the consequences and still found her real love in Poom. Said she isn't ignoring comments but will be using that feedback to improve in her future works. To me, Cheewa and Muslin's story is a big black hole, the audience don't want it and should NOT have taken up that much spotlight - I wouldn't mind if they gave more time for the 5 monkeys instead. She can't explain why for an hour half ep, the main leads get LESS than 5 min of screen time while the supporting cast takes up the rest is good for development? I've never watched one EVER like this where the leads here somehow get demoted to extras. Funny thing though, she did a half-apology, asking people to re-watch it to understand her perspective. She fails to understand about "over" creativeness is a double-edged sword as plot holes become illogical, incoherent and bizarre. She fails to remember her audience, who I hope realize this is only "entertainment" and a time for us to relieve our a stressful day. She still screwed up, no doubt about that. She's arrogant but not terrible since she explained herself. I'm not an avid lakorn fan, but out of the selected chosen ones, I still stand by that I will never watch any of her future projects she is in.
I'm glad she is taking the heat for this, cause the cast doesn't deserve this. In fact, they are the ones trying to save it with promos. If it weren't for the chemistry, no one would bother to watch it.
First to comment. Popped in here after watching Dhevaprom Poncheewan to transfer over PP and Kao's amazing chemistry. Excited to see them back for a movie but wish it was rom-com.
I give this drama 6/10 because of Kao and PP, not because of the storyline. Too much issues with too little time…
Author probably smashing the TV thinking those fools (aka production house, scriptwriter, dirctor who's all responsible except the cast) are lazy, sleeping on the job or just outright lost their minds. I would feel that and make a formal complaint against them. Ditto to the translation part for us international fans to calm our collective minds cause this storyline is playing with my IQ.
i wish their kiss could appease me but i’m so mad with this stupid storyline!!!!
How could that cardboard kiss even appease anyone, maybe if the storyline didn't suck so bad? I'm pretty sure they do could have done better than that. The production house, scriptwriter and director probably know what's up with the uproar so they backed out and hide behind the camera for their shoddy work, while patting themselves on the back for a job well, or terribly done imo excluding the cast. So obvious and hilarious. They even dragged Cheewa and Poom to Switzerland cause they feel like the main leads can't leave them out, aren't they suppose to take care of the infant, new mothers don't leave their newborn like that, what is she doing there frolicking with her new man? Another plot hole. If they dragged to ep17 with the crazy ex there, I rather they just end it swiftly today to save me a headache!
THE END. Meh, not sure what I think of it. Still so many holes unanswered and feels crammed. They think an unsatisfying lip peck is suppose to wipe off all the stains in the drama. I really like PP Kao but this here doesn't do them justice. They should definitely bring their newfound chemistry to another rom-com cause this ain't it. I rate this overall show 6/10 just for the lead's chemistry alone, that's considered high for this crappy storyline which I give 2/10. Their new movie is horror, and he's a ghost so I don't think we'll see any real romance but maybe flashbacks in there. I enjoyed reading the heated thoughtful discussions here every weekend but I won't miss the dumb plots anymore to keep me sane. I can't wait til I see the next PP Kao drama, I'm sure they will collaborate in one after their movie. Until then, hope to see them on-screen as the main CP again to end on a positive note.
Yeah mother of Cheewan was right all along, that guy can't be trustworthy with his constant wavering and sets…
That's why I want to read the novel cause it sounds more logical and intelligent than this hot mess. Too bad it's not translated otherwise I can envision what could have been.
Yeah mother of Cheewan was right all along, that guy can't be trustworthy with his constant wavering and sets…
Rightfully so. They are trying so hard to make everyone question their own intelligence and testing out everyone's patience which we have none for since it's the finale. I hope they bash them til no tmr cause the scriptwriter and director deserves it, the cast is otherwise amazing.
Yeah mother of Cheewan was right all along, that guy can't be trustworthy with his constant wavering and sets…
Did they just do a time skip? How did they reconcile? Cheewan looks happy to accept the flowers, but no tension after seeing him show up out of no where? Did I miss something or they cut scenes? Fill me in. This is what happens when you cram stupid plot lines in the last ep. This is getting really weird.
i think cheewan just stay solo. i would be more forgiving or understanding if saruj TRIED to contact her. but…
Plot hole right there. Cheewan literally spent $$$, which her little means, to fly to Switzerland to find him, she even left her toy there. He knows she is there but he just sat there looking like a sad fool that he is, while catering to his crazy ex. What happened to his attractive personality?
Watching the finale hoping for redemption but nah.... ex girlfriend is still in the picture and there are only…
Yeah mother of Cheewan was right all along, that guy can't be trustworthy with his constant wavering and sets no boundaries. He's also irresponsible that he doesn't let his family and friends know where he is. I really question his intelligence at this point for a diplomat that's a big red flag. I knew the last ep will be crazy too, they even manage to snuck the crazy ex storyline to take up half the space.
Saruj do you have to massage that woman, you are the problem? why is he feeding into her delusions threating him with death? He does not owe her anything, I hate that she's making him responsible for her predicament. She was the cheater and crying foul now. Muslin is such a shameful and spiteful woman (who apparently) is still legally married but seducing her ex so that's almost considered adultery. It's actually funny why he was in love with her, she was and still toxic and so ugly inside. If he had fell for that temptation, he will be labelled a douche. I still don't know how I'll feel about him getting together with Cheewan cause that guy still doesn't understand boundaries.
On the side note, are we really spending half the episode playing cat and mouse chase between to these two with the evil ex getting in between?
I mean if the scriptwriter's intention was to pull Cheewan away from the loveline, then they should not have built…
Cheewa was such a boring and depressing character even though she has more airtime. I would not have watched this drama if she was the main lead. The crappy scriptwriters are focused on every side character as leads except the actual main leads, ironically. If I were them, I would be so pissed cause they are screwing this mess up so badly, the title of this drama is literally "PONCHEEWAN" not Cheewa, not Dalat, not Poom, not Muslin, even the crazy husband of hers who got more airtime for no reason. To make matters worse, they turn Saruj into a righteous loyal man to a weak, obsessed illogical man who is at the whim of his toxic ex, at this point, I must say they deserve each other.
Honestly, I’m so annoyed with how things are playing out. If the writers/director didn’t focus too much on…
I mean if the scriptwriter's intention was to pull Cheewan away from the loveline, then they should not have built up that tension and chemistry and let her live the way she intended to be free. Saruj's loyalty to Cheewan is questionable and a big red flag if he doesn't explain himself after his actions. I don't say this lightly but the crappy scriptwriters here should have been fired A LOOONNGG time ago for the botched up plots, it's not that difficult to stay in line with the novel but no they decided to get stupidly "creative" and failed to deliver a proper story. I will make sure I never watch anything they touch. Would have trashed the series in the garbage bin if it weren't for the lead's amazing chemistry.
Well well well. I kind of expected Ep 15 going to be wild but find it odd that Saruj would just take off with Muslin like they reconciled. I mean DUDE, that's boundaries and lines. He claims to be head over heal with Cheewan but he's clearly wavering cause he said out loud he only saw his ex as his life partner and hesitated cause he fell for Cheewan. He's eloping with his ex for DUMB reasons, let's her hug him and doesn't reject her advances. He's rocking 2 boats now and feels like he's cheating. I guess he got tired of Cheewan's stubbornness waiting for those 3 words, scheming by using his ex or plain old devoted to his first love. Cheewan is frustrating cause she never reciprocated but acts like a jealous fool to the end. Darn these mad scriptwriters only make her realize she needs to play chase in the last ep. Seriously, girl, go solo and back to the original plan and live life to travel around the world seems more realistic. I wonder what these people are smoking, the cast must be rolling down their chairs when they read the awful script. Absolute stupidity! The only saving grace is PP Kao promotions otherwise it's all dumpster fire. Only one more finale to go, don't expect much, can't be much worse than the last few crap they threw in there.
Maybe it's just me but I feel like the Dhevaphrom series is promoting Chat/Kwan more than other couples. I don't…
That's what I am pissed off to be honest. I didn't watch the other parts so for me, I got introduced and was invested in Saruj and Cheewan. Never mind the upcoming wedding, the whole series felt cheated with Cheewa and Poom. Such wasted chemistry with PP and Kao. They really need to reunite on a better storyline than this. Cheapskate scriptwriter feeding me scraps.
Seeing the trailer and comments, I already pieced out what is going to happen in the last 2 eps. I don't have much hope. Ep 15 will focus on Saruj involved with Muslin with her crazy husband. Another filler again. Cheewan will have her jealous moments and have her mom and Cheewa console her. Somehow they will add a wedding scene but not the main leads. It will end with the main leads happy ever after in Switzerland, of course with Cheewa/Poom there too cause they are the unofficial leads here, where it all started, we get an innocent peck on the lips and they smile/hug . The End! Not really expecting much otherwise.
I was wondering how the same person who wrote Khun Chai Pawornruj could come up with something as nonsensical…
Yeah it's so stupid that they did that and ruined the romance built up for the leads. If they wanted focus on Cheewa, they should have gotten another installment for her story instead of messing this one up. I honestly feel bad for the actors/actresses cause they are doing the best they have to work with a crappy script.
I'm glad she is taking the heat for this, cause the cast doesn't deserve this. In fact, they are the ones trying to save it with promos. If it weren't for the chemistry, no one would bother to watch it.
