Is this in Cantonese or Mandarin? Stephen Chow's movies were way better in Cantonese.

You have to keep in mind that there wasn’t as much Chinese censorship on his earlier HK movies. Being able to swear in Cantonese is great!

I feel like China sensors too much. Back then, Stephen Chow had no bars, but now the Chinese Sensors make it very hard to ever produce something like God of Cookery again I think.

I actually had the same question, what we consider loves is probably different than what He Simu considers a lover. This guess is based on how it works in most fantasy dramas, where intimacy is usually reserved for your life partner (not someone you "like").

This is what I read...they only promote dramas that need it. It costs like several million to promote dramas so they use those funds on dramas that could use the money more efficiently. LBTG has been listed at the top consistently so Tencent won't waste money.
