And from where did you draw that conclusion? Ratings on a scale of 6-7.5 indicate dramas that are above average. And I enjoy spending time watching them. But I also believe that ratings of 8-10 only belong to masterpieces, and such titles do exist, but are definitely rarer finds.
Although checking someone's ratings instead of providing arguments on the topic being discussed reflects very poorly on the commentator.
Well, I commented politely, on topic and without personal attacks, you didn't provide any argument and were rude, so maybe that's actually a you problem.
As you have a right to do so. For me it was lacking in every field except the general idea of the plot, and that's not nearly enough for a drama to be entertaining, not to mention engaging.
Chinese costume and fantasy dramas are some of my favorites, I've seen quite a lot of them and I'm really surprised this one has such good ratings.
This was straight boring. The story could have been interesting if it focused more on the revenge plot instead of dragging out yet another, highly secondary issue. And the chemistry between the main couple was completely lacking. Ending was unnecessary bloody and forcefully dramatic.
In my opinion, ML's behavior was justified. Aside from this one friend, he had no one in his life who actually…
Well, absolutely no. I do understand that difficult childhood etc. can result in violent behavior in future, but there is a huge difference between having emotional problems or snapping at people and actually hurting them. Though I understand where such behavior might stem from, but there's also a huge difference between understanding and justifying—and it is no excuse for hurting others. So you're overgeneralizing and simplifying.
For me one of the lowest points of this drama was FL's love - I just didn't feel it. Her "love" as a fan…
And also - a romantic relationship in such a situation is a very delicate matter. It's for a good reason that lawyers, psychologists and such shouldn't get involved with their clients – the clients are in a very fragile mental state at this point and can easily confuse love with gratitude, and the other party can just as easily take advantage of this.
And in this story, their relationship was very one-sided – ML constantly needed support and help from FL. Apparently, towards the end, the creators tried to show that she also began to confide in him and received some emotional support from him, but honestly – for me, it felt like too little, too late...
The ex was the one who ended things between them... Because her father told her to do so, but still... I'm also…
Yes, and a thing with this pictures was brought back again with her father (he told that he took care of articles about it for her), but either it was never clarified when she was meeting with those guys (and if it was actually romantic or innocent and pulled out of context) or I totally missed it. Honestly the whole thing with ML's relationship and break up with an ex was so messy and confusing for me, I feel like they never properly explained what actually happened, just gave us some pieces here and there, that didn't have that much sense or at least a proper timeline.
I enjoyed this, but everything was kind of senseless (the character death, some motivations, etc). I'm still pissed…
Right?! They've committed breaking and entering, then they almost killed two people, and weren't even charged?! I generally don't understand this hardcore fangirling of k-pop idols, so maybe that's why it was so outrageous for me.
I absolutely did not like the drama, first of all, the characters, not one of the characters is close to me, their…
In my opinion, ML's behavior was justified. Aside from this one friend, he had no one in his life who actually cared about him. He was overwhelmed by constant pressure, a complete lack of time or even a modicum of privacy, having to constantly smile and wear a mask. To me, his behavior—both the "outrageous" and the panic attacks—was completely understandable.
I just finished the 2. episode and cannot understand the rating. i wanted a light romance story with lots of comedy.…
For me one of the lowest points of this drama was FL's love - I just didn't feel it. Her "love" as a fan - sure, that was clearly visible, but actual romantic feelings for him as a person?
just finished Ep 7 Im low key rooting for ML and his ex more than ML and FL. I really dont like this trope of…
The ex was the one who ended things between them... Because her father told her to do so, but still... I'm also quite confused about her meeting with other guys - was it before her father told her to break things with Laik, or after?
Well saw a viral tweet on the drama & I guess it's from SK fan page, calling the FL an 'Akgae'. Firstly didn't…
While I generally agree with what you said I also found it ridiculous that an adult (not to mention person who is calling herself a fan) was sobbing in bed for days because her idol was seeing someone...
hi I decided to drop after ep 8 :/ can somebody spoil it for me? did the ML ex’s did it? my theory is that maybe…
It was ML's ex, but she had some mental problems and that night she got to La Ik's to get him back, and U Seong was kind of collateral damage, because he was trying to throw her out of the apartment (which, of course, doesn't really fit with the fact that she accidentally stabbed him perfectly in the heart).
Can anyone spoil me if the prosecutor gets his act together at some point? I feel the need to punch my screen…
He does, and he actually gets promoted near the end because of it (also he's not getting any kind of punishment for how he was behaving most of the time, which was annoying for me personally)
Well, that was bad. Close to nothing was explained at the end. The whole concept with girls not remembering such important things (at the beginning it was even such a revelation that they were from the same class, like come on). Not to mention big technical issues - how could they disappear like that? When the boxes that had trapped their legs seconds before disappearing remained in place? Or the guy who disappeared while in a completely random place at floor, so it couldn't even have been some trapdoors placed around the table?
The episodes were only twenty-something minutes long, but I had a really hard time enduring it, I definitely don't recommend watching, the description sounds far more interesting than the actual plot...
How exactly was Eun Seong's plot to care for Hae In after her surgery supposed to work? I understand that dramas use some shortcuts and simplifications, but the guy made a hefty donation, and seriously that was enough? Especially in a situation as delicate as Hae In's, where she lost her memory and was completely dependent on a caregiver.
What hospital would risk a massive lawsuit from her family and a complete loss of reputation and patient's trust, no matter how large the donation?
After all, they let a complete stranger to the patient, without any consultation with either the patient or her family. If this were exposed, not only would the hospital take a massive financial hit, but what patient would risk staying in a facility that allows strangers to see their patients, as long as they pay enough?
The whole time it was going on I was waiting for someone from FL family to contact this place and give them hell, because that's what any person would do!
