The disappointment of the year. Boring, superficial, and with forced performances. Considering how much I loved ThamePo, I’m so annoyed. Ugh. Some people’s obsession with a ship is so strong that they can’t even acknowledge reality. You only have to look at that surreal rating, lol. I’m dropping it. I’ll wait until it’s finished and then read the reviews from some objective people I know who are watching it. I really hope the plot picks up because it’s pretty weak right now. I don’t have much faith, though.
Honestly, I really enjoyed this series. It definitely has its flaws, and some of the soap-opera-level twists drove me crazy, but it kept me entertained all summer. The leads have INSANE chemistry, and the OST is really good. I’m really going to miss them. 🥹I’ve never been this obsessed with a BL before, and it’s all thanks to them and how comfortable they seem around each other. They make it feel like they genuinely love each other. I hope we get to see them together in another series. I declare myself a TeeHeng addict haha
This series has been my obsession since it started. I’ve even rewatched some episodes because I couldn’t wait until Friday, and I swear that’s never happened to me before. Tee is a fantastic actor. I honestly can’t believe he’s a newcomer to the acting world. He acts like he’s been doing this his whole life. Actually, scratch that—he’s better than many established actors. It’s a shame his co-star isn’t quite on his level, but I still really like them together. They have so much chemistry, and they kiss so beautifully. I don’t know how to explain it, but their kisses feel genuine and so aesthetically pleasing. It’s such a pleasure to watch two actors who feel so comfortable with each other. It’s not easy to find such a great connection, so I really hope they keep working together.
I’m sure Heng can do even better. We’ve already seen a lot of improvement since House of Stars, and this series has basically been a crash course for him. I really think he’ll continue to grow as an actor.
I really enjoyed the first two episodes and they got my expectations pretty high, but as the episodes went on, those expectations slowly went down the drain. The plot is an absolute snoozefest. I thought it might actually surpass ABO, but no fucking way.
What? Head 2 Head ended just six months ago, and they already have another series about to premiere? Does GMMTV really have that much confidence in this ship? I'm not complaining, but damn... I had to wait two years to get a new series from my favorites.
Honestly, it’s really frustrating how unfairly this series is treating one of its supposed main couples. We were told there are three main couples, but it’s obvious that one gets most of the screen time every single episode, while another barely gets any scenes at all. yes, I’m talking about JossGawin.
I don’t know whether to keep watching this or drop it. The story is a little ridiculous, and the main couple looks so overacted in the romantic/bed scenes, and they also seem clumsy in those kinds of scenes—they need more practice lol. I have faith in the secondary couple. I don’t know what to do...
