The scene where Akira told Kanda that he was going to tell Kanata everything, you could see the fear in Kanda’s eyes. He acted like he was concerned about Akira and how it would affect Akira’s relationship with Kanata; but in reality, he was more concerned about someone else finding out that he was messing with a literal child. I love that Akira stood his ground and told Kanata anyways cause the kind of relationship he wanted shouldn’t be built on lies.
The biggest villain of this series was the father… you can’t convince me otherwise. Cause first, how would you let your crazy wife run amok like that, making attempts and actually killing someone eventually all in a bid to get rid of your other flings and their children. As if that wasn’t enough, you let the children live like wild animals in the forest, baiting them against each other as if it were a game of chess or some sort of survival of the fittest. Good to see that he reaped the consequences of both his actions and inactions, quite sad though it led to a death.
Stories are open to interpretation, and audiences naturally project different perspectives onto them. Recognizing potential for a BL dynamic in High School Frenemy doesn’t mean insisting that everything must be BL. It’s simply an observation based on character dynamics and narrative themes. Literature and media have long been analyzed through various lenses, and this is no different. A different interpretation does not invalidate the original work, it just adds to the discussion.
Interesting but I just feel like they took too long to get to the point that I had to skip a few episodes. Slow burn doesn’t necessarily have to mean boring but I admit the characters did so well so I’ll give that to them.
Absolutely no reason not to watch this. The only sad thing would probably be that the episodes are not very long, aside that it’s an enjoyable watch. I felt every moment with them from the sad to the happy ones and so on. I’m also really glad there was a bit more to the plot than your typical boy meets boy and then they fall in love. 😅
I earnestly don’t know how to feel about this one. I don’t know if it’s the acting or the plot that I find a bit unsettling but I’ve seen worse so I’ll give them a 5 for the effort 😁
This would have made a solid BL story.
I don’t care! In my head, these two got married and lived happily ever after 🤭
Darn it! I hate the censorship but I’ll take this over nothing I guess 😭😅
