It’s tough b/c we all want justice. Painful when crimes go unpunished. Yes, she didn’t get stabbed by a million arrows, but somehow I feel like this drama handled it more realistically. Nothing drastic happened to her in her lifetime but she suffered more silently by living a solitary life - lost the company of the consort, Li Ye’s mom, and of course her only son.

Yea, very rough, thankfully she’s not alone. I would be so depressed.

Just finished ep 17 and it’s the sweetest ep ever. There’s a youthful vibrant energy they give off as they go off on their adventure together. Love the smiles, the playfulness, and and support for one another. I’m sure it’ll come to an end and some angst await me I future eps but for now, I’ll just enjoy these sweet moments.

I actually think she did end up recognizing a bit of remorse on her deathbed. She assured her son to take the right action for th country and not for filial piety. Thus, all her crimes reported.

Ep 39’s fighting scenes are pretty exciting.

Yea, looks like they’re just pressing lips together.

And the volume too. all the elements are in harmony with each other, an orchestra performing in unison to present us with a beautiful story.

Kissing is hard. Also, I feel like sizzling hot kisses would be out of character for them and their relationship development. Maybe more gentle tender kisses . There’s still a few more eps. Maybe they’ll surprise us

There was a thread earlier about this dilemma. I think they were arable to resolve it by linking the tv tencent app with the phone app? Maybe give it a try. I dunno. Kinda sucks to not be able to watch it on tv imo

I don’t try to get immersed in that world. However, I do get turned off when an actor does something clearly egregious and it’s not just gossip, like murder. 😂

I think it has to do with him badmouthing / whining about his costar of bullying him in one of the ep of the show they were in. A lot of ppl were turned off by the way he handled the situation

LBFAD is one of my top 10 of all times. I still enjoy watching it. At the time, it was one of the best imo - complex characters, interesting plot, dynamics, best cgi, cool costuming etc etc and of course hella hot scenes. I had to get over ester’s voice but it was great. Wasn’t it one of ZLH’s first dramas? I remember thinking how handsome he was and how it would be great when he becomes a better actor.
