I don’t try to get immersed in that world. However, I do get turned off when an actor does something clearly egregious and it’s not just gossip, like murder. 😂

I think it has to do with him badmouthing / whining about his costar of bullying him in one of the ep of the show they were in. A lot of ppl were turned off by the way he handled the situation

LBFAD is one of my top 10 of all times. I still enjoy watching it. At the time, it was one of the best imo - complex characters, interesting plot, dynamics, best cgi, cool costuming etc etc and of course hella hot scenes. I had to get over ester’s voice but it was great. Wasn’t it one of ZLH’s first dramas? I remember thinking how handsome he was and how it would be great when he becomes a better actor.
Someone shared this and thought folks here may appreciated it. It may have been posted bef it deepens my appreciation of this drama
picture, where both wear the red string together, here the meaning, I copied it for you, nice meaning. Leads’ Names: Male lead – Mo Xiu Yao; female lead – Ye Li.
Word Game: Their names combine to “Mo Li”, the exact pinyin for 茉莉 (jasmine) in Chinese.
Double Meaning: “Mo Li” is also the pinyin for 莫离, the series’ native title meaning “never apart”.
Why “The First Jasmine”: The title — 第一朵茉莉 (Dì Yī Duǒ Mò Lì)— refers to the pair as one jasmine; the flower’s name exists only when “Mo” and “Li” are together. They are “The First Jasmine”. Why They Can’t Separate: If they split, the word “Mo Li” (jasmine) disappears, breaking also their promise (never apart).
Red String Option 1: The red string is used to show their destiny and honor the promise of being fated together, but the word game itself is what physically proves they cannot be separated.
Red‑String Option 2: In the poster, the red string links Mo (left) and Li (right); it acts like a hyphen, joining their names into “Mo Li”, which means both “jasmine” and “never apart”. Lese weniger

I think she’s going to college. And he dropped out two or three years ago in his senior year of high school. So based on that, they’re probably three years apart or so. But that’s what I surmised.
