i rly did, how are ppl saying this is open ending is beyond me it was so beautiful and perfect 😭😭😭 before the last eps I was going to drop my rating to like a 9 or 8.5 because of the lack of kiss but damn they got me in that last part I friggin ADORED it and it brought it right back up to a 10 , I don't wanna let go ! so now I will likely have to go rewatch moonlight or something, BTW I have to thank you as I saw you in particular had finished so I was like well we have similar tastes and she gave it a 10 so it can't be THAT bad even without a kiss and since I was already so close I was like F it I'll do it too 😂🥰

omg the last eps made up for the no kiss (however I will never forgive this director for that) but my Fu Zhouuuuuu omg i love him! can't believe I almost dropped this at eps 27 because if how mad I was about the kiss (to clarify once again ,still mad) but that last eps gave me alllllll the feels and all the romantic swooning and I want to just hug these characters , so glad I stuck around as this will probably be the one and ONLY time I rate a drama without a proper kiss scene a 10/10, I need more! already bought a decorative pillow with my sweet couple miaomiao and ziqi on it, ahhhhh I just want scream of happiness at that last eps and there is a hidden kiss in the end credits of last eps, very clear what they are doing just don't see their lips so I'll have to accept that lol need a kiss from these leads tho go see Moonlight, my current profile picture is of them kissing on that show haha 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🫠🫠

yup it started out well but then these past couple of months they decided to bring on the Tragedy with almost every single one, it's like they were like, ya know what, there has been too many happy endings , let's level the field and completely destroy all chances of satisfying happy endings for the rest of the year to throw ppl off being able to guess right 😂😂😂 loved quite a few of those you mentioned tho

haha i can't blame you, they ruined a perfectly good drama, here's to hoping after all these crappy endings that some of the upcoming ones will turn the trend around 🙏🤞

in blossom doesn't have a sad ending, like 90% of them on that list do but that was i just found too many reasons I just didn't want to watch it as it wouldn't satisfy in other ways but I'm pretty sure you're safe with that one lol but yea my journey to love is a never ever ever will watch drama 😂 starry love i rly wish had a better ending as I was holding on to that one for a while as it sounded soooo good but even tho it was hinting at a happy ending i just couldn't put myself through it knowing that was where it was going, I even accept a 2 second reunion ending most times, one of the most fulfilling ending I have EVER seen in a historical was Wonderland of Love, pretty much a whole episode dedicated to it and the final scene is a very good kiss

probably everyone was on your side lol I heard there was a lot of outrage on that one and even the actors in interviews were trying to imply he was alive to calm ppl down🤣 funny thing if they are trying to win a creative ending award when it's the LEAST creative as so many end that way lol if we are going with cliche endings , then give me a happy ending with a wedding, cliche and somewhat common but makes most happy 😂

you know what this drama doesn't lack? The pure visual pleasure of Ding Yuxi, i could stare at this man all day 🤣

Definitely do it and give it like 8 eps or so, I got stuck as 7 for a long while before going back for the nth time then became absolutely obsessed, one of the rare modern cdramas i was able to finish no problem even after the couple got together and they have an unusually high amount of kisses for a cdrama haha

the kiss is a breaking point for many ppl and a huge disappointment to me as well, almost didn't want to finish because of how disappointed I was, but I love this couple too much and I will be watching moonlight for my kissing satisfaction lol check my profile pic 😉🥰

nope I had waited for it to finish as back then I didn't give ANY dramas a chance until they were done and I would've been so mad with the ending of that one I mightve wrote of cdramas for a while, I very recently started giving ongoing dramas a chance again and boy did I pick the wrong time 🤣🤣 whyyyyyyyy do they keep changing the ending from the book, like I don't get it, you want to adapt a good book because ppl loved it and then entirely change the whole feel for those book fans for a crappy sad ending because you think you are artistic and want to give ppl an emotional shock, like dude, I'm 34 and have no biological grandparents or either biological parent left and have lost a sister already, real ppl have that PLENTY in real life, give us something in fantasy that could at least give us the happy feels by the end

haha yea like we can be moved in the story just as much without killing off the ML, I love angst and pining, go ahead and give me emotions, but at the end of the day we all want a light at the end of the tunnel to look forward to or it kinda makes the whole story pointless, I told someone else watching this that it wouldn't make sense to have Duanwu have a sad ending because if they put both main leads who have lost everything and build up this story of going against all odds to fulfill yourself and happiness , ending with one of the leads dying would make it all meaningless as sure she could go the lonely successful woman route but as she would lose the love of her life and lost all those others, who could she share it all with, making the journey more pointless to me

that's why I always put them in my not interested list because I don't want to forget the ones that have terrible endings🤣 im so glad I didn't watch them too, there were a couple in teetered on giving a chance just to be so glad in the end I held off because wow, then rage I would've felt 🤣🤣 yea maybe this writer and director will FINALLY break the trend of unsatisfying endings

it's still rly good, the ending is a happy ending, you don't see his face at the last part but he says her name and a bunch of ppl say his name so there is zero doubt, I peeked lol also apparently there is some very heart warming story for the real world making it worth it, the only thing lacking is a kiss scene, however in the ending credits the very last scene is a kiss scene , you cannot actually see their lips but it's clear thats what they are doing as she pulls his face to hers

Yea since it's Lusi too I expect more of a happy ending , KMLM was one of my most anticipated and now i can't even watch it because I don't do sad, I believe there have been 4 or 5 now in a row and I'm so over writers or directors thinking they are Shakespeare 🙄 i just put them all in my not interested page and don't rate them as I don't want to bring the rating down for those who might enjoy them regardless , it's just so frustrating because I will fully expect them to have a HE like A Beautiful Lie was a big shock, so now I have no trust in dramas again, I have hope tho , hoping that writers finally get sick of killing of the ML lol I'd rather a last second happy ending over that, come on Pear Girl! lol

I am putting all ongoing dramas back on hold lol the ABUNDANCE of sad or disappointing endings this year even in the least expected rom com modern dramas to fun loving ones, the sheer amount just in the last few months is i feel unheard of, especially when so many of them had an original work with a very happy ending, I'm just so tired 😮‍💨 but this drama is so friggin good I'm hoping express will drop on this one very soon so I can hopefully continue to watch these amazing ppl 🙏🤞❤️

going to finish this despite the lack of SOMETHING MAJOR in romance because I love Ziqi and Miaomiao so I'm totally fully convincing myself Moonlight is the sequel as the only thing lacking in this is in abundance there, they are just so dang cute here and I still love them but now that I'm fully committed to finishing for Ziqi and Miaomiao I want nothing to do with the second leads story at all , I have now been busying myself with laundry or whatever when their scenes come on but my eyes still lock on the screen for my favorite couple🥰
