Typical BL with a harmonious first couple

Its a typical BL: a naive, soft main character and one with a hard shell but a soft centre. Good chemistry between the two.
Second couple also very typical; the down-to-earth normalo and the rich asshole who can change himself. The chemistry is okay, but not great.
The token woman who can do nothing but scheme and cry.
8 episodes seem a bit too rushed. 9 episodes would have been better; the resolution of the secret deal in F8 was handled too quickly for me. Normally this is the typical F11 that all bl lovers are afraid of haha. Then there's the ring-intensive ending...one more episode would have been better.
Some points remind me of the BL TharnType (Someone acts like Lhong).
The Story is okay, also very typical. But a little bit flat and repetitive.
Despite everything, not a bad BL. But also not an outstanding one or one worth seeing again.

Missed Chance, but if you like romcoms you will also like this

Disclaimer: I guess these romcoms aren't my thing, I also had some issues with the series 1000years old.

Let me say OMG Vampire is much better than 1000y. but not very good either. It's ok, not rewatchable. A show you can watch while washing some dishes or something (unless you don't know Thai like me and have to diligently read the subtitles). My relationship with the series is very mixed. There are highs and lows. On the positive side, the chemistry between the couples and the main characters is good. Unfortunately, the antagonists and supporting characters seem like foreign bodies. Also: why is the blood that Guv.Lux drinks blue and glowing? And the End... It reminds me a lot of Game of Thrones season 8 Finale.
So all in all, I give it a 5.5, but only because of the last episode, because there was finally the sexual liberation of Poom and all the loose ends were tied up.

Badly staged, could be better (good and sad ending in the same time)

Conclusion after the end:
If you take out the whole, in my opinion, unnecessary vampire story, the series is a story about the love of your life and the luck of finding it. It's a story about soul mates who find each other again and again and finally grow old happily in one of their lives. Just as many of us humans wish we could have a marriage with someone we love with every fibre of our being until they both find their way back into the cycle of the earth.
The series should have either left the vampire theme alone or done it better (the vampires here are toothless, kind of like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon, the Disney film). But the version here is really bad, unfortunately, and greatly reduces the rating of the series. I will therefore only give it one star more than my provisional rating. A wasted opportunity.

Review after 5ep:
The first two episodes were hard to take, my thoughts were "bad acting, weird main characters, a story that barely fits together". Even now after 5 episodes the story is still opaque but with the appearance of the "bad boy" it becomes more exciting, he brings in dynamism.
Overall, I'm only staying tuned because I want to know whether pun will bite yoh. Unfortunately, the vampire himself is also very badly staged, I've seen it done better in other East Asian productions like the Kdrama Blood for example.

Random thoughts on the series, may contain spoilers:
What the hell is going on with Somchai anyway? He may be a well-written character, but the actor is rubbish. He only has one laugh and the exact same sentence structure. There's no variance, you can't just hear if he's amused or pissed off about something or whatever. And his constant clapping...just super annoying.
It's a shame that Pun's story wasn't told more about how he became a vampire and why his father made a deal. This storyline would help a lot with understanding.

True love lasts for centuries and is indestructible. Good series

After finishing all the episodes, the short conclusion: It's a nice, good series. Undoubtedly worth watching several times.

Storyline: Unfortunately, it hasn't changed much over the course of the series. The part with the mystical creature gives the story that certain something. Without this, it's a simple workplace romance. The conspiracy seems logical to me overall (I think this often happens in the buiseness), but the villain is...too smooth I would say.

Character development: MosBank pulls it off. You realise in every scene that they are a couple in RL. The chemistry between them can't be faked or acted. The two of them are simply adorable. Sam and Yotha's development is nice to see, that despite the hurdles, love prevails. I think this fact can be extended to the whole series. It's kind of the quintessence of it. Because Prim and Pim also had to overcome many hurdles before they could finally show more than just a kiss in the last episode. The comic relief couple (the one that brings us down from the admittedly really hot and superbly staged NC scenes and drama with the other characters) is Chan/Juldis. I understand their purpose in the series and sometimes their moments were funny, but often they were too...weird in their communication with each other. kind of not natural.

It's a shame that my question from the beginning wasn't answered. It's also a shame that there wasn't another conversation between Lin/Sun and her parents at the end. Maybe that would be something for Season 2 (although I realise that very few BLs get a second season).

All in all a great series, I'll deduct 0.5 points each for the storyline and that some things didn't seem quite conclusive to me: For example, why did Chris (sorry i forgot the characters name. Shame on me) come up with this whole conspiracy? What exactly are keaw's family problems that made her join in?

Anyways, enjoy it :D

First Impression after Ep.1
I was very excited about this one because even though a lot of people didn't like Big Dragon, I kind of loved it.
The acting from mosbank is good as always. I can't say anything about the others, too soon.
I think it's too obvious what P'sun's brother's position in the company is. After the first episode, the story looks flat, but the opening scene with the dragon (or snake or other mystical creature) gives me hope. Let's see where the series goes from here. I'll update my review when I've finished the series.

A drama full of drama queens, passion, hate, spicyness and the thing with loyalty to those you love.

The trailer makes us believe that it is superficially all about sex. Even though there are many hot and sometimes explicit scenes, it's about much more than that. It's about friendship and what true friendship means. What highs and lows you experience, how you can solve problems. But it is also about true love and how human desire, which is inherent in each of us, can be a problem and a problem solver at the same time.
The acting is overall very good, only cheaum's performance can't quite keep up with the others, and yet her character is fun to watch. I also like the fact that the series doesn't have the heavy involvement of parents, which is something new in the bls I've seen so far. I especially like the theme music, finally a theme music that you do not want to skip. Even though I didn't quite understand the forshaddowing at the end of ep12, I'm hopeful and excited if there will be a second season. I'm sure they wouldn't have cast a well-known actor for the first guest if it didn't make sense.

If there is a second season, here are a few thoughts on my part:
- Can Boston really change? Will he continue to live his life as before? Will his dream of having his own art exhibition come true and will his ex-friends or Nick visit it? and what will become of Nick, will he maybe get together with his boss? I thought they were very cute.
- The storyline of top and mew seems to be told at first sight, but the newcomer aka first guest looks like a troublemaker. Will there be tension between mew and top? What will their life together look like? I think Tharntype has shown us that even an everyday life on the screen can be exciting.
- Sand and Ray. I would love to see the two of them travel around the world and sand play concerts. But it will probably be too expensive to produce. Will ray make it through his rehab? I really hope so and hopefully he will find something to do in life. It's a shame to see him so completely without a plan.

Underrated, Thrilling supernatural crime show

I liked this series very much. There were none of those typical "filler scenes". Everything was important. I especially liked the special effects when Kang San uses his powers and the friendship between him and Dong Joo.
The plot is very typical for a Korean TV series. A sardistic antagonist, a big political corruption scandal, the police are useless at the beginning but the big hero at the end. The main characters harmonise well.
Overall, it was a very good thriller. For me, it is not a drama because there is no love story. The series was exciting and I think it has repeat potential.
Careful: spoilers!

The only criticism for me is Myung Seok. He was at a crossroad when he planted the wiretap. I would have liked to see the betrayal of this family. Because now he has exploited the weakness of his brothers for his own selfish goal. That, to me, is typical of Koean television. I liked the idea of him getting on the good side and staying with Dong Joo and Kang San.

Unusual topics are addressed in the subtext, good

short conclusion:
I don't think it's as bad as many people are making it out to be. yes, it's not a masterpiece, but it's something completely different from the usual bl. The ending is extremely unsatisfying, the last shot is "to be continued". I'm curious and hope for the best.
Positive:
it depicts the different facets of sex and how people react to the different forms (stigmatisation of bdsm/masochism for example). other important topics such as the problems in the sex work industry and homophobia are also addressed. the acting ranges from good to bad, depending on the character. yes, there are a lot of sex scenes, but if you fade them out, an interesting thriller story emerges.
Negative:
I find the English sections very annoying. Why, I don't check. does the series want to come across as more international? maybe one of you can explain it to me.

If you liked Jade in the main story, you'll also warm to this series.

unfortunately, i could never really get on with jade and mai. both characters, like the story, are very flat in my opinion. king and uea's relationship is also different, more childish i would almost say, than in the main series. i think that's a shame, because i've always liked their energy a lot. But to mention a few positive aspects, I really liked the intimate conversations between king/mai and especially those between jade/uea, very believable with nice dialogue! The relationship between Tong and Gus is also great and I was surprised by the bed scenes at the end, beautifully staged, nice lighting.
to summarise, i didn't really like the show but it wasn't really bad either. unfortunately i could never really warm up to jade's character so the whole series was exhausting to watch

unusual and confusing but good

A relatively unusual storyline, some elements are more common in BL series like the good guys vs the bad guys (which are often companies that do illegal things to maximise profits). I was intrigued by this 4 minute theme, unfortunately this was not fully resolved for me. And there are also some other unanswered questions for me. But maybe I just need to watch the series again (I must have had a month's break between episodes 6 and 7). The 3 time dimensions (past, present, future) make the whole thing super exciting but also confusing, especially for foreign speakers who only rely on the translation (and English is not my mother tongue either).
The acting is mostly good, of course bible stands out for me but also the actors of Tonkla and thyme are to be emphasised.
The mood and music was consistently good (with some bl I have the impression that the music is inappropriate for the situation, too much singing or too cheerful).
All in all, a very worthwhile series that also deserves a rewatch.
