The First Jasmine Episode 17

After everything Ye Li has endured, this episode finally gave us a deeper look into the scars she still carries. Watching her confront the pain of her past while trying to remain composed was heartbreaking. Bai Lu portrayed every emotion beautifully — the sadness, the loneliness, and the strength that keeps Ye Li moving forward despite everything she has lost. One of the most touching parts of the episode was seeing how Mo Xiuyao stayed by Ye Li’s side. He may not always express his feelings with words, but his concern and quiet support spoke volumes. Their relationship continues to develop through trust and understanding rather than dramatic declarations, which makes every interaction feel meaningful. The atmosphere throughout the episode was both tender and painful. The memories, the emotional conversations, and the lingering sense of loss made several scenes incredibly moving. At the same time, the episode strengthened the bond between the leads and showed how much they have come to rely on each other.
