Well, at least they explicitly tell you what's different between S2 and S1 about SY in Episode 26
It's good to be "stupid" sometimes so that I can enjoy and get intrigued by things and/or topics I never knew about. I definitely don't think there's 100% accuracy in everything portray in this drama, but I am sure we are all smart enough to do our own research and findings if we ever get there when truly interested or if we really wanna.
But otherwise, it's still beyond me that they are able to have plot materials to assist and support whatever this drama has addressed, such as Genes editing, etc.
Such complicated and (boring to some) topics in normal school lectures would have made me fall asleep while listening to the lecturer teach but I find myself paying attention to this drama. And to each of their own on whether some prefer S1 style and direction or S2 which there's no way to make everyone like it, I still enjoy the freshness this Season has given me although there are some predictable villains, but there are also mind blowing concept involves that leaves deep impression. The overall including the humour is good for me, where JF character is more memorable than in S1 for example. I need a S3 with no cliffhanger but a happy ending to conclude the series.
I would like to know, as wellAnd, would like to add some of my questions, as well.Is there any sml, sfl?Does fl…
That's the 2ML, whom grew up with her after she split from her immediate family as 2ML family took care of her like family since. Also same person whom likes her
Witch episode they got together ?Any breakup ?How long the breakup last ?Any love triangle ?How long the love…
Episode 13 they got together No breakup Got 1 love triangle between ML, FL and 2ML as they kinda know each other from kids Love triangle ended by Episode 15 Happy ending
Well, those living in China can buy the Express package to watch them, so in a way locally it's finished airing (paid). But for internationals, we'll need to wait for this coming Mon (tmr), Tue and Wed for the rest of the episodes...
Apparently you didn't pay attention to the show or you've skipped a lot of scenes or entire episodes. "Doesn't…
It is the first time he came back in his adult appearance, they didn't actually get into contact if I am not mistaken although I think Nie Chi is in contact with his mentor, that's why Fang Chao know Nie Chi is coming back. It is unknown whether the family got inform Lin Ge about Nie Chi's situation all these years although I believed Nie Chi knows about Lin Ge even when he wasn't around her. Hence he was able to find her at the rink and know it's her. Lin Ge only knows it's Nie Chi from the same words he said when they were a kid at the rink.
That's why the backstory etc. don't sit so well with me. The drama is more of their romance than any other of the plot including the sport which doesn't seem to be the main focus despite being the point on how they met and what their current goals are, etc. but you hardly see scenes of them at the rink other than verbal achievement most of the time.

I didn't skip through, but all these happen too fast.
When she is young where her grandma kinda abuse her, she is soon "adopted" to Fang Chao's family thanks to Nie Chi. Then Nie Chi left with his family. Flash. - become adults already then Nie Chi came back. When they meet it's like nothing happened, over the years of not seeing each other but somehow kinda know each other so well like yesterday.
FL spent all her time with Fang Chao's family since. Her situation is pretty well with this family even though they aren't her real kin. Then all 3 went under Han Bing's guidance for the skating. There we met grow up Brother of FL. The annoying grandma and Brother didn't spend too long to annoy FL before they finally disappear for good.
Current situation it's like nothing happened and they don't exist as the story now focus more on the 3 of these leads.
So frankly speaking FL unfortunate situation didn't last very long as she became "sponsored" by a kind family to do what she eventually likes even though initially she just wanted to earn money from competitions of short speed skating.
Again, the revelation is based on verbal script only. When she say it, it wasn't really that sad as she is already over it considering her circumstance. It's not too long for her to focus on her present which makes her happy. That's why her past didn't really make much impact to me when most we can see is the nice present.
Finished 12 episodes, it's not that bad so far, but rather than short speed skating focused, it's more on romance and relationship. They skipped alot of main sport scenes considering the entire drama is only 20 episodes of around 30 mins long. The first few episodes were very fast paced and doesn't have much of personal backstory feels - like the FL supposed to have a sad personal story but watching such fast paced edits don't make me feel that sad for her, etc.
In a blink of an eye, they already made it to the National Team via verbal scripts. If you are more into the sport, To Fly with You would be the better choice of your time to watch a drama. This drama has less toxicity however, but personally I would say there is also less growth and progression because you don't see much in action, it's more of how they made it via verbal scripts than seeing it (so far at Ep 12)
GYT's case was one of the most difficult scenes for TJC and I am glad many people recognised how awesome he did for this case. His hard work has pulled off
S2 ain't perfect, but the overall if not most, work and research done + acting and humor are quite well done in general. Production seem expensive and the cinematography is in a better quality so I can totally ignore all the product placement. I personally like drinking Luckin anyways, glad it came to my country.
I might be one of the only few whom continue to look forward to new episodes when it's 6pm air date. I was puzzled with cliffhanger for S1 as I don't think I heard of S2 confirming but thanks to popularity, S2 came and I am just here for the ride. S3 seems to be more certain as compared to when they finished S1 (since it took 3 years for them to decide and produce S2, and the actors also initially didn't expect there will be a S2)
Not all the cases are interesting, but it's the layers over layers that are intriguing to me, such as the Aurora and Opera cases giving me very deep impression. TJC definitely also did alot of his own homework to be able to deliver powerfully for his character. Kudos
I still truly enjoyed this as well as the platonic relationship between the 2MLs. It's much deeper as compared to S1 even though there was a 3 years real gap for the actors to refind some feelings and touch to give their craft to this production. ❤️
I don't know why many chinese drama got screwed up at the final episodes this yearUnder the skin season two isn't…
I understand your desire for a happy ending as well as a concluded ending, but when this drama has aired around midway or less, there is an interview of both ML whom already revealed that there will be cliffhanger in the likes of Season 3 just like Season 1 (though Season 1 seemed to be based on popularity that they decided to have Season 2)
It's just that nobody knows what's the cliffhanger is about until they release the last episode.
Season 1 has already concluded. That lady "m" already died. She did plastic surgery to take over another person's identity and has been hiding for 7 years. She was found and eventually killed by the organisation she was working for. The main villain was also caught at the end.
If you are referring to the cliffhanger of Season 1, then it didn't really happen in Season 2, but it might have something to do with FKY. Maybe those will be addressed in Season 3

No 2FL as they are all support characters
No breakup
Got 1 love triangle between ML, FL and 2ML as they kinda know each other from kids
Love triangle ended by Episode 15
Happy ending
Also by the end of Ep 15, their love triangle kinda ended. SML likes FL, FL and ML likes each other.

Just thinking whether is he a villain or not. So far in episode 24 he isn't one
Thanks
