Du cheng said "who" would you choose between your work and your passion and Shenyi said both are the same while…
I interpret it as
Occupation/Job/Work is referring to working with DC
Passion is referring to working with FKY
Between the choice of this two if they didn't lineup/have conflict, which would SY choose.
SY simply says they are different paths leading to the same direction. Direction refers to preventing crime and/or catching criminals. So technically SY didn't really answer DC question (with the answer he wants, I believed he wants SY to choose Occupation, which indirectly means "Choose DC")
DC's expression still ended with a "bothered/worry" face in that scene, the same face he made when he ask the question. This question comes from after they left FKY laboratory/work place, so it's just another vinegar DC trying to seek out from SY the place DC is in his heart indirectly I suppose.
Every time I see the two main male leads, my mind makes a detour straight into BL territory. It's like my brain…
It surely is, people who can't is in delulu world
Like it's obviously censored because of China. Else it could have been a ML and a FL BUT 2ML being intentional as casts surely mean something even if they didn't get touchy
It doesn't have that kind of romance you see in typical romance drama but there's Platonic Love.
DC had 1 blind date iirc in S1 in which he wasn't interested. Subsequently, his attention span is only with SY. Even if DC subordinate (Girl) has any personal issue which is affecting her, DC is oblivious, only SY paid attention to such detail (as this is technically part of a case). This is something from S2.
I would say it's pretty similar to near the end of S1 condition, but there's a few scenes to showcase their close "friendship" that's both funny and nice to watch.
Other than that, it's just trusting each other as working partners, except DC doesn't have much role as compared to S1. SY takes most of the screen time to expand and develop his capability in solving the cases as the prior focus. DC serves more like a supporting and savior when it comes to critical situation of SY. But when DC gets rude like how someone has pointed out, it's either cause of SY's safety issue or Captain Lei related
I came here because alot of the casts got an award from the recent SBS held yesterday or something. Thought it is a good must watch
Then read alot of people whom are actually disappointed with this show and the rating of MDL is also not as high as JFH although I understand they are not of the exact same genre (just made some reference cause KNG and PSH are candidates of the Daesang)
Am I the only one to think Mr Fang is creepy?Every time he appeared in an episode he seems lurking around Shen…
Not the only one for sure. His 2nd appearance gives the vibe of the villain of S1 ending based on his actions.
But so far he has been someone whom is helping SY to elevate his talent whenever he is involved.
It would be great he is just a great supporting character to help SY in his growth and progress, but with a few incidents that kinda have Mr. Fang's scenes I think kinda imply that it's not that simple. He is very likely to be the final villain of this Season. His appearance definitely fits someone villainous unlike Season 1, but it's also what makes both season very different and fresh to watch in their own ways.
GYT and FXW irl are just a decade year old difference but because of how they look, if you tell me they are similar age it's definitely much more believable than saying she is his Godma...
He don't look that young so I got a shock initially when he said that she is his Godma and the actors are just following based on his age being younger than his looks. But based on judgemental society of why they are together, I truly believed it should have been harder to tell that they have an age gap if GYT never revealed to anyone how old is he compared to FXW. It's passable that they can act of similar age since they look normal as lovers. Lol
Shen Yi scared me for a minute there....his actingπ₯π₯. But I'm starting to see why Du Cheng doesn't want…
Yes same, but how many times does SY wants to endanger himself?
Who walk into a killer house by themselves thinking they would be unharmed? SY could almost get himself killed again. Luckily this time DC stop scolding him. He's just glad SY's alright
I am kinda obsessed with this show and don't want it to end

I think he's handsome and should have more leads role than playing as support
Btw it's funny as his role here is εθ΄Όηεζθ΄Ό
He keep suggesting SY to consider changing occupation is definitely very sus

Based on 1 day per episode, this drama should be ending next Sunday, with last episode airing at 6PM (China Time)
Edit: Someone mentioned 3 episodes a week, from Mon to Wed, so last episode will be on 6 Jan
As far as anyone whom want to deny or ain't a fan of this sensitive topic, Season 1 obviously tells you DC ain't interested in any ladies
But so far he has been someone whom is helping SY to elevate his talent whenever he is involved.

SY too engrossed with things can get reckless
