Why does it feel like the characters glossed over some relevant high stakes events? The hit by a truck, the poisoning, ML getting stabbed... especially the truck and stabbing ones. Both ML and grandpa had some suspicion that they were related to Mundo, but in the end he was taken down by a deepfake related to that nurse... what about his attempted murder of cha segye and grandpa?? We were shown grandpa doing some work behind Mundo's back, so I can't believe he couldn't find evidence that he was related to those events; ML as well, he spends a lot of time investigating Mundo's dirty work(like the nurse case and the company related problems) but not his uncle getting both his grandpa and girlfriend potentially killed. Speaking of ML, did we ever learn that he finds out about what happened to FL there, that she was poisoned/drugged when she found her locked up? In the end, FL got her "revenge" on the coworker actress who did that to her but it's treated as a petty little prank rather than actual seeing the woman receiving consequences for her actions.

I really hate western movies and shows who kill dogs for shock factor. I should've checked https://www.doesthedogdie.com/ but who would've guessed that for a comedy kdrama

Yeah, that one scene made my blood boil. I get that they are trying to highlight how creepily dangerous and disturbing the king/Mundo is, but that scene felt too brutal

This is just Hometown Cha cha cha/Brewing Love so far. It's fine, hopefully it will get better and be as enjoyable as the former and not as boring as the latter

I feel like this show is trying really hard to make every character besides the main leads as insufferable as possible
