I just read the synopsis and I already knew that I wouldn't like it. We've too many versions of this storyline. Everything is so predictable. Although i like ML, I like my time more than i like ML. LOL

This drama started with such a good premise, but went down as unappealing and struggling to get through.

Thank God it improved at the end.

Nevertheless, when 3/4 of a drama is so " sleeping pills like ", it's hard to revive its appeal.

Would have definitely been better with 28 episodes max.

Thank you for your reply. But i feel like having to watch another series to fully understand this one is also proof that Immortal Ascension was not well made since it'snot a sequel. That's my opinion.

I share your sentiment. It appears his actions stemmed from an overwhelming greed, leading him to commit such reprehensible acts.

However, I find it difficult to reconcile his actions with the fact that he flayed Zang Hai's parents and kept them in his secret hideaway.

I agree. Weak script, shallow story.
