it's a character. IT'S HER CHARACTER. she grew up with that mindset. she grew up with that belief. Nothing to be embarrassed of. flawed? yes. but relatable, certainly. I wouldn't be proud even standing besides my siblings in such situations if I'm not doing so well. talk more of a lover But as a character she will grow. I love how the show explores her growth ( if there still time idk)
